Which do you people find easiest to deal with
I feel the positive symptoms are easier to deal with than the negative. Also off topic, but for the last few weeks i've been having this thought in my head, like constantly distracting me and its ridiculous. I keep thinking my teeth are going to fall out, like I have to go check them regularly almost every hour sometimes more to make sure they are not wobbly etc. Is this a delusion issue or merely anxiety? __________________ Dx Schizophrenia Meds Seroquel 600mg Diazepam 15mg Zopiclone 7.5mg |

Positive since I'm now used to my voices being constantly. I don't like the negative.
And I have no clue about your teeth. That is really strange. It reminds me of someone being on a bad acid trip. (Not saying you're doing drug.) |

What do you deem as positive symptoms?
As far as your teeth, some people have certains paranoias about things and you seem to be very worried about your teeth. I think its more of an anxiety issue than delusion. |

I seem to go through phases with this kinda anxiety paranoia type thing.
I started to believe various things from nowhere, like for about 3 months I was convinced i had cancer, and i became obsessed with it, it was my only thought process. Now im going through it again with my teeth, checking them constantly and thinking they're all gonna fall out of my head. Its most distracting. I've told my consultant about the obsessing ideas but he just scribbled something onto one of his post it notes and then carried on talking about other stuff. As for what I deem positive symptoms, I was under the impression the hallucinations were positive symptoms and delusions and lack of motivation etc the negative symptoms, but i could be wrong, ive maybe got them mixed up. __________________ Dx Schizophrenia Meds Seroquel 600mg Diazepam 15mg Zopiclone 7.5mg |

Hallucinations and delusions are both positive because youre adding something to the person.....motivation etc are negative since you're taking something away.

After all these years I muddled them up. But the way you have written it is a good way to remember

I'm always paranoid so naturally, that's anxiety provoking. But then again, my axis 2 diagnosis is panic disorder. |
