I am really scared that there is an alien in my apartment. I read about Psychotic episodes so I think it might be one, but I'm not sure. Does anyone know if my feelings of there being an unhuman being in my apartment me having Psychosis or a Psychotic episode? I have these feelings all the time. And I always think that even though I may not see an alien in my apartment that the alien is invisible. I think that aliens have abducted me before. Is that Psychosis? If I am indeed having Psychotic episodes all the time do I need to tell my Psych Dr? Someone please help, I'm really scared and need to know if this is just my mind messing with me.

Hi Angelwngs25, I am not going to say there isn't an alien in your apartment and I won't say you haven't been abducted. I believe you might have had/are having experiences that are out of the realm of "normal reality", and alien life might very well exist.

Now, here's the way I measure my own experiences. If I am having the feeling that a being is around me I recognize that my experience might be true - but if the experience is preventing me from living my day-to-day life I believe that's when I need to seek medical help. So while it might very well be that an alien is in your apartment, your awareness of it is causing you anxiety and other unpleasant feelings and thoughts. Therefore, my suggestion is that you should definitely speak with your p-doc about it.
Thanks for this!

It does sound delusional to me, best to see a psychiatrist there are meds that can stop it if that's what it is....
