In school I take a class called "Skepticism & Logic". It's a class where you learn about different things, why sertain things happen, theories, myths, etc. It's really interesting.

The first day of class my teacher was giving us an introduction on what the class is about and some different topics. We went over hearing and seeing things.

He said to the class, "how many people sometimes hear things, but no one else does?" Just about the whole class raised their hand. And his explanation for this was -Sometimes when you hear sertain sounds, or voices in your head, they're usually sounds you're used to hearing. If you're used to someone calling your name, you may hear it in your head sometimes. One of the most popular ones is hearing your cell phone vibrate, but when you look at your phone- nothing is there.

Another one was seeing things. He said sometimes you see things move out of the corner of your eye, or if you are looking at something you swear it moves or you look at something and you think you can see sertain things out of the objects. He says sometimes things are imaginary.

I don't know if it was any help, I thought I'd post it just in case for people that might think they have problems and are experiencing that.

But if you get it often, don't think it's not serious. Sometimes it may be, but sometimes it could just be those types of things.

I thought it was interesting, not exactly sure what it's called.

I thought I was going a little insane when I experienced those things, but it's just things we're used to hearing.

I know. We learn about psychics, palm readings and stuff. Love the class, plus having an amazing teacher!

But the other night I was in my room and I kept hearing a beeping sound and I was so freaked out, but it was only in my head.

I feel better about some things now I take this class.

lilmissjess when I try to sleep I hear engine noises or like a factory going but its from a condition ive got to do with my brain that the dr diagnosed. its amazing what can happen with the brain eh? and with some medical conditions you can smell things which arent there, or taste metallic things on your tongue. We are a marvellous creation, I hope you agree. nice to see fragile's comment too. Hearing/seeing things?
