I was diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder last yr and currently experiencing a relapse with psychosis -

Does anyone have conflicting feelings/thoughts in their mind?

Like one part of your mind thinks logically and thinks this can't be real, psychosis is not real, this is made up, etc.
And the other conflicting part knows that this is real, and knows it is psychosis...but the more you ignore the logical part, the bigger and stronger the other part gets and the deeper you fall into psychosis....? Anyone else relate?

Yes, it is a constant struggle for me. It doesn't push me further into psychosis though, as I find myself working harder on reality testing. I get washed from one perspective to the other like waves after a storm.
(edit) I have been mostly stable for the last 6 months (in terms of psychosis) and nearly 2 years in terms of mood instability.
