So.. There was a time when I couldn't remember much of my dreams. But for a couple months I have been able to recall most if not whole of them. I find dreams very important and lately I've been using them to benefit this physical life- to ask questions regarding my life, communicate with the dead etc.- In this thread I will track any new ones and post drawings of what I dream and the notes I make shortly after waking up.

I vowed to draw some of the amazing sceneries I've been to and after the initial doubt, I found it automatic to draw exactly how it was..

coming up..

My dreams in thought and drawings

The face and the mirror are not part of my dreams. I think the mirror means asking myself how mirrors function in dreams. The face I'm not sure either, some sort of a good and bad combination in a deity

Right part;
the swamp in the middle - part of a negative dream in which I am rescued by my friend
the trees above - another swampy situation but this time very positive, mysterious land
below left - a settlement, alike to middle eastern ancient towns/sandy, by the sea
below right - a modern skyscraper city by the beach, one of my 'dream' towns

These were all different dreams, some recurring, for some I remember the whole background story. My mind races when I draw and I find it hard to finish up an image before it is replaced by another, hence merging dreams in one picture. I should start writing explanations to it, too, cause I forget every time.

Philosophical corner

It was on the verge of falling asleep when I realized I was and thought ''I don't want out of my consciousness''. Next scene I'm talking to a friend, these were dreams already. Next scene I'm talking to an unknown guy and he says ''how do you not remember me, we've seen each other three times already''. And I realize I've talked to him a lot in my recent dreams (he was there for me to realize this and ask questions) in the exact same apartment (his) --> I realize I am dreaming and there is also a waking state which I'm currently not a part of.

The scene immediately disrupts, tears apart, and I am stuck in a hellish sleep paralysis (a punishment for realizing too much too early?). I hear multiple interfering voices and whispers, ''raping'' my brains and also incoming train sounds. Luckily I am familiar with sleep paralysis and almost immediately I make myself wake up.
Thanks for this!

Lying monsters are a real nuisance: They are much more cunning than others. They pose as humans even though they have no understanding of the human heart; they eat even though they've never experienced hunger; they study even though they have no interest in academics; they seek friendship even though they do not know how to love. If I were to encounter such monsters, I would likely be eaten by them... because in truth, I am that monster.

My dreams in thought and drawings

P.S. I'm drawing a pattern next to this figure and it just came alive for a second; reshaped and changed color.. a bit scary but I liked it
