I really need help with this.

I believe that I am between 2 worlds, one the real world and one the world where I am telepathically communicating with the post-singularity era ("future").

I am telepathically communicating with family members. But what is real and what is fantasy?

I have been wondering if my experiences are real and if more people have the same experience as me.

Can you tell me more about your fantasy or real experience?

Thanks.

Hey!

I used to ask myself similar questions, what is real and what isn't. Even the same earthly event is interpreted differently by different people, so in my humble opinion, there really isn't an objective shared reality. There are however some measures of it; to define the nature of material, visible objects, we use physical instruments etc.

I believe everything I experience is just as real as anything else, but I understand others do not experience some of the things I do, so I adapt to this fact and try not to stand out (somewhat).

Lately I have been practicing communicating within dreams - asking questions I need answered, going through possibilities, learning some facts.. Now that you remind me, some of the scenery I went through gave the impression of the future - could be. I have also used dreams to communicate to a family member who passed away, again, it did not seem like a distorted memory, but indeed a constructive conversation.

I think my and yours experience is similar in some points and I am definitely interested in knowing more about your post-singularity experience. Do you have any idea when the singularity happened and what is the future you're perceiving like? Also, did your family members grow older or are they your future kids?

If it's not distressing you or causing you problems in your life, then in my opinion it falls under the "mysteries of the universe" category, doesn't need to be right or wrong. Just like wondering if there is anything more after bodily death, there is no way to prove or disprove.

I do think that even Stephen Hawkings has spoken a bit on the topic of different dimensions in the sense of parallel universes and so on. It's not just "ill" people who wonder and explore such things. Everyone has the right to acknowledge their experiences and wonder about them.

There's religions based around it, too. In the east it is much more common for people to acknowledge other realms than here. Most of their sanctuaries and temples (goes for the catholic church, too) are modeled after realms and gods, visions.

If you liked Stephen, I strongly recommend you check out Carl Sagan's Cosmos series. The renewed ones aired just recently, with Neil deGrasse Tyson. Both are okay but I prefer the old ones. Also check out Stephen's book The Grand Design. Some of the chapters are 'the mystery of being' 'what is reality' 'alternative histories'.... you can find it online.
Thanks for this!
