I didn't know that! I have The Center Cannot Hold on my tablet and it would be awesome if there were some way to highlight passages that I could particularly relate to. I have a Nook.

I read "The Center Cannot Hold". Very interesting and well written. It's so encouraging what Elyn Saks has accomplished. She's a good writer. Makes me want to get into having psycho-analysis!!

I started having hallucinations at 13, so I know it's stressful for a teenager. But it's so great that he has a mom like you. Mine thinks I just see, hear and talk to ghosts. My dad just grunts and tells me if I stop thinking about it, it'll go away. My sister uses me as a side show freak for her friends.

It makes my heart smile to know that not all parents are like mine.

I'm sorry you don't have the support you deserve. Do you at least see a doc or therapist? It is sure good to see you online and talking to people here. How old are you now? (BTW, I am same person as BAPsych1988. I changed my username). See you around and take care!

Think that'll be my next purchase. Looks like an interesting book!

*edit* - I just got a free sample on my kindle, I'll probably read over the beginning tonight or tomorrow & I'm sure I'll be buying it thereafter.

There's also the library, then you don't have to spend any money!

I know what you mean. I have to keep renewing and sometimes other people put a hold so I can't renew. Sometimes I break down and buy books. Especially books that are good to refer to again and again. So worth it!
