Have to get up early tomorrow to go get blood work done. Don't feel like it though, have been sleeping nearly 24/7 the past few days, would rather stay home and sleep

im having a panic attack. my body feel like its warping. like my arms are growing and extending and my limbs are twisting and bending in a psychedelic way. it doesnt hurt. it feels funny. it tickles but it tickles in a bad way. it feels like my mind is shrinking and my body is growing. or sometimes when i close my eyes my body stays the same and the world around me grows.

idk if thats a panic attack or a psychotic episode.

Diphenhydramine (Benadryl - allergy med) did something like that to me. I would try and sleep and the smoke alarm light would move where I'd get a jolt and feel like I'm about to die and I would check my heart because if I didn't, it would stop. I would check my heart every 30s to a minute so it doesn't stop. Also recreationally, the body zaps were so bad.

It was at the time where I stopped the Prozac and on holidays skiing.

I would be extremely anxious and my heart would beat super fast and into the hot tub which did well for the anxiety. Then when its too hot, I would walk on the ice in a cloud of steam in -20C for a while.

Are you eating well? Cuz for me, I need nutrients especially electrolites or I go nuts. But on Prozac, nothing happens.

The mushroom is called Amanita muscaria. Its natural colors are actually quite nice and have inspired a lot of art and are even in all the Super Mario Brothers games.

I like the quote.
Can you share some more inspirational quotes?

Today I thought about some anger I used to have, and how it hurt another person who means a lot to me. I must be healing.

My mom and step dad broke up because he's still sending money to his ex wife. She is sad but strong holding in tears and wants what's best for her kids.

She was so happy. He caused extreme emotional and physical damage to my whole family all these years. And then just... Left after getting Canadian citizenship..

I don't know what to do but cry. My dad and I predicted this. He doesn't care but now what is she going to do once I move out before my sister does and she'll be alone. I can't explain this feeling. Every single penny she makes is for her kids.

I don't care about jail If anything happens to her.

I need to let it go. It's over. He did what he did. At least she was happy with him for years.

It's over.

I'd love to share more inspirational quotes. Of course, what I find inspiring others may not.

I need to remember to copy these questions out and run through them every evening. They're good questions, I think.

Thanks for the name of the mushroom. I'll look it up when I get back from the day trip I'm driving my mom to.

Morning everyone!

I'm now on my 5th day of being medication-free & I'm happy to say I've not noticed any increase in symptoms or side effects from stopping other than perhaps waking up early in the morning. Risperidone has a pretty short half-life so I'm quite sure if I'm not experiencing any bad effects now then I won't be expecting any to suddenly pop up.

I'm already managing to stay up later, which I'm pleased about. I hated getting tired & going to bed at 8:30pm every night. I'm just waiting to see if I'll maybe get some more motivation back now I'm off it... last time I came off APs it took about 2 weeks for my motivation to come back fully. It's not like I had a drastic decrease in my motivation on Risperidone but I think it did have a slight effect.

All in all, it seems like going medication-free is working out well for me for now. Let's just hope this psychosis is transient & I won't get any sort of relapse.

Awesome loial!

Just got home from getting blood work done, the lady asked what happened on my forearm because of the scar that she could tell it was recent, I just said it was an accident and left it at that

Tweaky, I'm sorry that your step dad has caused your mom, you, and your sister so much pain. I know you would do anything for your mom, so the best thing you can do is just be there for her. You're strong too, just like she is.

At the state fair in their vegetable showing they had several of the hottest peppers, the carolina reaper, trinidad scorpio, and bhut jolkia (sp?) ghost peppers. It was really cool

I'll warn you, I stopped medication once and it took a few months before I relapsed, and I know someone who went nearly a year.

Keep strong

Just had some macaroni cheese for dinner.

What's everyone up to today? I'm just re-watching the X-Files... forgotten how much I enjoyed it.

Thanks, my psychiatrist did tell me to watch out for that but since were not sure whether my psychosis is transient or not it's hard to know what will happen.

Somehow I was under the impression that you were still having symptoms...is it mostly voices? If so are you just going to be OK with a certain amount of symptoms?
