If you have grandiose or grandiose religious beliefs/thoughts, you will have inferiority issues. The brain uses the grand delusions to help stimulate.

If you have paranoid or persecutory delusions, you may have issues with guilt and shame and the delusion acts as a sort of exposure to fear.

If you have delusions of reference you may have issues with losing control, the amplification of the issue can show up internally or externally.

The delusions are most likely activated by stress/fear and inferiority. The delusions are on your side the exposure to the excess fear of death can help strengthen you emotionally and help with gaining control

I believed I was the new Virgin mary for three years,I don't believe this was due to inferiority at all,im very confident but some connection to the divine feminine, which I dream about too.

I'm not remotely religious so it didn't really make sense to me before, had never thought of mary before, but now I just see it as a link to the divine feminine.mary is currently the only goddess in our culture.

The delusions have a symbolic meaning, the paranoid and perscutory ones are mostly to do with guilt and shame.

i think it would be more helpful if you said "my delusions...." instead of "your". it kinda comes across like you are a know-it-all about other people's experiences.
