So my dad suggested highly the vitamin: B12. He read that it can be helpful for some symptoms of schizophrenia. The first time I took a pill form I felt really angry and knew it was not helpful. I stopped taking it. Later on, he purchased the liquid form in a raspberry flavor of B12 that I started taking and didn't really feel like it was having bad side effects, so I kept on taking it.

Now I know the liquid form has been throwing me WAY OFF. Heres the even worse part. When I stop taking it, I get really bad (hot flashes, feeling really weird and gay, Parkinson's feelings, it also messes up my normal thinking patterns). I have been on it for probably about 6 months once each day.

I stopped it once again this morning but I am afraid of the weird side effects returning. I don't want to deal with this "vitamin" anymore. I know it's causing bad side effects.

I am taking Benadryl now to try and help cope with getting off of it. Does anyone have any suggestions or input for me?

5 mg is a very low dose of Abilify. Do you see a psychiatrist regularly?
