I am new here. I posted this elsewhere before realizing it was a UK forum I was posting on. I wanted to write this down because I think it's funny and I have read a lot of forum stuff that just brings me down. I am currently seeing a doctor so don't worry. For a long time I have been seeing and thinking things that may or may not be real. Usually it gets worse as I get depressed, or maybe it gets worse and then I get depressed. Who knows. The important thing is that it happens. One of my worst ones occupied me for a period of six months or so. I became convinced that the host of a particular podcast I listened to was following me on the Internet and using the information to send me specific messages trying to get me to add my voice to his cause in order to have me locked up for conspiracy to commit certain crimes. He referenced things I spoke about with others leading me to believe that he was monitoring my conversations. He referenced music I listened to convincing me he was following my trail on you tube. In one podcast he talked about some important thing that was going to happen and if you wanted to know what it was just watch and see. Then he played a song from a musician named Grandpa Jones. I became convinced there was a message I needed to see in order to warn others about the trap and the only way to do it was for me to watch everything I could about this person and see if I could catch it. Anyone who knows anything about grandpa jones knows his most famous work was done on hee haw, a 70's country show. So I bought the box set and spent 3 weeks analyzing every appearance of grandpa jones looking for the message. So the next time you're on the interstate and you have to pull over because you think they're following you, remember it could be worse. You could be forcing yourself to sit through three weeks solid o

When you see someone staring in your direction and automatically think they're staring at you and or talking/plotting against you.

When you think that your Grandma is going to forget to put out her cigarette and light the house on fire and everyone will die.

When you are either laying down trying to go to sleep or wake up in the middle of the night and think someone or something is in your room either watching you or trying to hurt you, so you turn on all the lights until they go away.

P.s. Sorry if I don't fit in this thread...

I made that a habit after my trip to Italy. Taking the buses were a risky enterprise. Plus, before I head work I find it has utility. Left pocket I hold my meds and headphones, right pocket holds my keys. Back right pocket holds my wallet, back left pocket holds my phone. It's a good habit.
