SoScorpio, I would like to apologize to you for invading your thread with ignorance. I have a huge problem with being lied to. I think that word is what made me take notice. When I am lied to by "normal" people, I feel betrayed which I translate into meaning I am "unworthy" and "can't handle" the truth. Ingrained since childhood, enhanced by a cheating bf and at 57, you would think I could overcome that. I still refuse to give up on myself and one day, I know I shall feel worthy.

I applaud you and your boyfriend for being the kind individuals you are.

Again, I am so sorry.

No problem, I feel the same way about lying. I understand that some things will offend people you couldn't guess; after all that's pretty much what this thread is about. The things people say and do that make other people feel bad, and sometimes it's neither person's fault.

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
