i made a post recently about experiencing a traumatic event regarding telepathy and myself. i hate it. its like i can feel people reading my mind and reacting to what im thinking and are controlling me. i believe my thoughts are controlling my surroundings sometimes subtly sometimes its really significant. ionly when im distracted will these thoughts calm down

its not really telepathy though because i cant hear theire thoughts. only they can hear my thoughts in a certain radius. not all people but only some i think....maybe they all can...i dont know

I've read a few of your posts (not all), you seemed to know pretty well about hallucination and delusion. So you do know that what you describe as telepathy is a common delusion for people with schizophrenia right? Sorry I am asking this because I do understand when delusion takes over us we would lose our insight..

I am sorry to deviate from the assumption that telepathy is part of schizophrenia and a delusion,I happen to know telepathy is real and that in a state of heightened awareness I can read other's thoughts and they can read mine.I experience this when I am not having psychotic symptoms as well as when I am,it is a natural phenonemon. My sister and I could communicate this way when we were far apart and we have confirmed with each other things we telepathically communicated when she was in her house and I in mine.So don't believe this is a symptoms of illness rather it is a consequence of the third eye psychic centres of the body being opened and not closing down again.
I assure you it is something a lot of people experience and very common if you have had a mental illness or not.

I don't think it's really telepathy that's debated or the problem, but more a sense of being controlled via telepathy, thought insertion, etc. that is scary. I've personally chalked this fear up to mental illness and try to shut down any thought of it before it snowballs because it can control one's life, and that's where the mental illness comes into play.

Yes, I agree,it can become a problem, the mind gets overwhelmed, the telepathy can develop into voices and the issue of being controlled and feeling intruded on these are very real problems. There are rules when practicing telepathy that keep us safe and if it is new to us and we have not had guidance on how to stay safe it can lead to illness, yes.Thank you for sharing your comments.Marylinx

There are so many people who can read thoughts, and they pretend like they can't- they don't openly talk about it or openly confirm that they can, they just hint at it and mess with your mind by {commenting on/repeating} your thoughts.

They never physically attack, only {verbally/mentally}. They try to hurt your {brain/way of thinking}, I think it's because they're trying to hold back the people they harass.

There is a big thing{conflict,"war"} between people who can read minds and the people who can't read minds and are being harassed by them every single day. I don't know what it is all about and I haven't found a reason in the entire time I've been searching the internet. There is definitely something going on though, and I feel like the people being harassed are special in some way- because people usually bully others out of insecurity or jealousy, and these people who can read minds are constantly messing with certain people who can't read minds.

This is a very real thing and just because you have it does not mean you're schizophrenic, just because you have it does not mean you're crazy.
Thanks for this!

Yes nearly everybody with paranoid schizophrenia has had this delusion, indeed anyone with paranoid psychosis, will have experienced this.

It is very very common

I agree ShiningI found people into the occult can read minds,Hitler was into the occult and his followers today are into mindreading ,telepathy etc.I was involved in anti racism and came to lock horns with these supporters in my area and they all read minds.
Anyone involved in occult and Lucifarianism read minds and can do telepathy, they do not tell outsiders they do this they use it among themselves and as a weapon against outsiders.I use to live in London and frequent Camden Town during the 1980's I met a lot of Goths who used occult knowledge and smoked and took drugs who used mindreading telepathy to communicate.
