Good morning. I hope everyone has a good day. I'll be going back to bed once I get my bus missing son to school.

I feel weird, entites say people at the day hospital don't give a **** about me and what they do it's just their work but inside they are tired of me and don't want me to return.

I won't go tomorrow and Monday, but I have to go on Tuesday because I have an appointment with my psychiatrist.

I think they care or else they wouldn't put you on day hospital

don't listen to your voices they are the reason that ended you up in this mess in the first place.

Hey guys,

Can't believe it... but 29 years old today.

I was in college & of course we had to create & present a short assessed powerpoint today of all days. Oh well, got it out the way but mumbled my way through... mind just went blank so read parts of slide & didn't elaborate as much as I planned.

Other than that wasn't a terrible day.

Got an extension on work that was due tomorrow because of all the crap the past few weeks. I did almost manage to get it all done but just sleeping too much on my days off.

Home now. I got a takeout ramen which was really good.

I'm contemplating watching The Desolation of Smaug extended edition I got for christmas, but not sure I'll want to be up another 3 hours...

Hmm. Shall see.

My friend's pdoc told my friend to get power of attorney for my health care.

Does that mean my friend could commit me to a residential Psych hospital?

ETA I won't agree to it. I feel nauseated. His pdoc has been telling him to dump me for 15 years. But always due to whatever my friend said to him.

not without a magistrate and a psychiatrists order

Thank you! That makes me feel a little better. He just texted me that he wouldn't do that. He's the only person I trust, and I still can't agree to that.

yeh, citizens cant commit people. they can seek to have someone committed , but anyone else can do that as well. basically a guardian can consent to have someone forcibly medicated

Thanks, I'm a lot less afraid of being forcibly medicated, if that should happen. I already am med compliant. If I ever live with my friend again, there's a small chance of seeing that pdoc. But he wouldn't want to have to represent me, he would definitely push for me to be committed, I believe.

I would be more OK with the social worker having the power to do whatever she thinks is best. She had me committed short term at the hospital Psych ward in April. And also my pdoc at the clinic. I trust him so far, too.

I would be irate if someone had me committed too. Especially on Christmas Eve.
I thought that with power of attorney they could basically do whatever they felt was best. Including petitioning to have you committed. I know my husband has the right to make any medical decisions he feels appropriate for my fil. I was thinking of making him my poa just in case I ever need to be hospitalized.
