No, it's not the medication I take since you can donate while taking lamotrigine and gabapentine. It's because of the diagnosis, they told me I can't until I am 'sane'.
I am mad right now, it's discrimination.

That stinks! I wonder though if it could be because the blood loss would effect you negatively due to your condition. I'm not sure, just a thought.

that is stupid ...mental illness or not they should still let you give blood
there needing blood all the time i mean maybe there not allowed to take blood because of medication
