So I would like to know people's views on pot. I'm looking for something unbiased as possible although I'm a big supporter and believe it's a lot of fun as well as medicine to help focus ,it eases pain, one the biggest I personally use it for is self reflection and meditation, oh how and also I think it just helps people enjoy whatever activity ando thing or company they have around them I would love to hear your input

I guess it depends on the strain of cannabis. I was originally diagnosed with drug induced psychosis. I personally think that what I smoked was laced with something because as soon as I smoked it something didn't seem right and my paranoia went through the roof. I'm sure I read somewhere that if it has high thc levels then it could potentially cause problems. But it also depends on cbd levels.

Not for me. I get really twitchy paranoid and it makes my psychosis worse.
Thanks for this!

It depends on the quality or "strength". I can't do ones that make you extremely high after one hit. I start feeling like I'm detaching from my body and my paranoia gets horrible. Last time, I watched the fridge turn horizontal, it like managed to fall over and shrink in between the walls. That's when I went straight to bed. I don't like being too high. It's horrible. But if it's a light strain, I'm good. I take marinol, which is 99% sythentic thc, but thankfully it doesn't make me feel weird or high or anything.

Generally speaking drugs & mental health problems don't mix well.

Cannabis is a particularly touchy subject when it comes to psychosis, since it has been known to make some peoples' symptoms worse. I know some do swear by it though & they don't see it as doing any harm.

Personally for me it was one part of the equation that ushered back my psychosis, so it's a no from me.

The access to pot is the scary part. After taking lithium orotate I bought on amazon on and off for the past five years, I regularly smoked pot thinking the lithium was balancing the effects of the marijuana, and I could work on or spend my free time doing anything I wanted, something I self controlled when I would smoke pot previously. I started working on astronomy and the ideas at the thread "Communications with voluntary tinnitus".
However I stopped taking lithium and pot has become a total placebo. I believe the government, makes it illegal to enslave us into there system and strengthen the economy. I guess I always did think it was just the first hit that gets you high and all successive times you smoke just "cash you out". Now there is literally no physical or psychological effect any and everytime I take one hit or ten hits. I do however enjoy the taste mixed with some sugar cane babe and hence relaxes me and motivates me to write about crazy pot head topics like gravity, and the universe.

Um, yes yes yes, one million times yes.
For me, it really calms down my psychosis and it makes me feel normal! I feel happy and like I can talk to people without being paranoid about what the think! I feel like I'm living my best life and just having a better time than when I'm sober.
But also- sometimes it can make me paranoid and freak out about what people are thinking. Honestly it all depends on your mood going into the high. If you're already in a good mood or you're telling yourself that this will put you in a good mood, you'll be in one!! But if you're in a bad mood previously or maybe doubting if you'll be happy from smoking, it could definitely affect your high.

Hate smoking weed even though it always seems like a good idea at the time it really triggers schizophrenic episodes for me
