Does anyone ever just not feel real? I will literally look like I'm disappearing or my hands will get smaller and smaller. It is a really annoying feeling that I can't get rid of lately.

Yeah. Feel like I might be disappearing like the Cheshire Cat in 'Alice In Wonderland'
One of its distinguishing features is that from time to time its body disappears, the last thing visible being its iconic grin.
I think its because I am ignored, was ignored by mother. Maybe I disappear, I'm unseen. Often felt unreal as a teen, viewing the world as behind a glass screen. Like detached--------------- watching a film.

I can see how being ignored would come out to disappearing. I personally think I have had such bad anxiety since I was a child and I retreat so now I am disappearing without wanting to. I have had poor coping skills growing up with stress that I think they have become issues.

Body dysmorphia, body integrity , depersonalisation, derealisation, all this stuff is studied, and are symptomatic of mi and related disorders. Loads and loads of people get this kind of stuff, wouldn't get hung up on labels Just included the above so you know you have alot in common with other people.

Sometimes I "wake up" and feel that my life is not real. Like I'm in a paralle universe and I got taken out. Sometimes its identity because I don't have a stable one and sometimes if gets so strong and then suddenly goes away.
