Microchip can't locate cats, they are helpful if you cat get lost since the microchip has your phone number, if someone finds it and takes it to the vet they can call you. I have one in my ferret, they are safe and there to be able to find the pet owner in case it's lost and someone find it and take it to the bed, don't worry, it's there to keep your pet safer.

Microchips do not record or transmit data. They are only used in identifying lost or stolen pets, not tracking movements and definitely not. How could a tiny chip, the size of a grain of rice, that is inserted under the skin have a camera, let alone one that can magically see through an animal's skin.
Thanks for this!
