I have been diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia. This happened about 7 years ago and I had to retire from work, go on disability, and take meds now.

I wanted to reach out and see if anyone has experienced something similar to what I have.

I was diagnosed with this illness because I have come to the conclusion that we are surrounded by invisible people who are made from antimatter who can read our minds.

They live different lives than us, their society is very different than ours as it has no laws.

They are invisible because they are made from low energy antimatter and they do not give off light in the visible spectrum. Their society is very advanced compared to ours. They are living like the jetsons while we live the lives we live. They do not want us having the same technology they have as they would not control us they way they do currently.

I have been blogging about the reverse engineering of their technology for a few years now and I have developed my own version of physics to explain how the technology works, The blog is located in my profile.

I believe they are capable of reading our minds, in fact they constantly do such. They speak to me and torture me.

Does anyone have a comment about my blog or theories?

I can only understand so much of your blog, but I do have a general sense of science and the limits of what we can know, and how my own personal thoughts have been affected by psychosis.

Our minds try to complete the knowledge our senses pick up. We can most reliably depend on our senses for day to day things. If we doubted them so, then how would we ever get to the grocery store and back? However, what about in physics? Newton's abstract theory of gravity gave us an equation that has explanatory power on how masses travel in space. Fnet = m • a. Everyone believed that to be true for hundreds of years because it explained phenomenon. However, cracks began to appear and people began to question it. Einstein came along with his own theory. E=mc2. The lesson here is that we can be so functionally fixed on a heuristic, a mental shortcut, that we forget to doubt it and we use that heuristic for everything. It's like trying to stir the soup with a rake. You can do it, but it's not a good idea, and things get messy.

Once we detach from our sense knowledge, and our minds pick up from there, especially using abstract mathematics, we then form mental substitutes for the world "out there". Yes. I believe Newton and Einstein created "mental substitutes" that is not the actual world out there. How could you capture the, messy, dappled world so perfectly? I don't think that is possible, there is always static, even as mathematics gives you precision, that's mental precision. Look where it leads us with all these dimensions in string theory. It's too far from our sense and our abstract thoughts might have gotten too fat from our senses. Well then how did we make it to the moon, Day Tripper?

That's a good question, I believe our "mental substitutes" (like e=mc2) have great explanatory power, but are not perfect, and definitely not complete. I don't think we can ever know the world completely, for then we would have to understand consciousness and that is beyond the realm o science, because consciousness deals with intrinsic, subjective properties where science deals with objective, extrinsic properties. How can we know the intrinsic properties of anything besides what's in between out own temples?

Many people with schizophrenia experience an enormous an amount of stress coupled with paranoia. It stretches and stresses our minds so much that we lose contact with every day causes and effects, and our minds begin to turn against itself. The paranoia of a look from a stranger, from a piece of mail, a disturbed piece of paper under your door that you left to make sure nobody came in after you, your cellphone crashing, tv advertisements, what tv news casters say, what your friends are saying behind your back, we begin to collect all these paranoid thoughts and weave fabric from them. As time goes, with paranoia and fear, we start to weave a blanket theory that explains EVERYTHING. This blanket theory usually operates in the darkness. It can be God, the FBI, Aliens, midi chlorians, ect... These "mental shortcuts" begin to connect all the dreadful dots. Everything begins to happen for a reason and you understand that reason to be said mysterious entity.

That is the best way I can think of how I interpret my schizophrenia.

Fuion;
If you're still having these delusions, you could try switching meds. That said, I have been trying different AP drugs for 11 years now, and so far I am still frequently psychotic. The real test, as far as I am concerned is, are you a danger to yourself and others? Are you going to dump half a ton of mercury in the local water supply in an attempt to kill these other beings? Or take up an assault rifle and go down to the mall and shoot them where they're hiding inside normal people? Etc. If the answer is yes, then definitely seek out better meds.
