I did the same. I recently bought an Xbox One and 3 games for $200 also. Red Dead Redemption which was really fun, Battlefield 4 and Ghost Recon. You can find great deals on ebay but I found mine on Facebook from a local yardsale group.

Yeah, I saw that

They need to fix the damn joycon drift though!! Why are they making a hinged joycon when there is a class action lawsuit on their current joycons? They need to fix the thumbsticks because they wear out prematurely due to the graphite pads underneath them. Mind boggling, really...

Thankfully I haven't run into joycon drift *yet*, but it’s inevitable due to the joycon thumbstick design flaw.

I'm pretty sure they fix them for free now if you send them in, I'm not sure if the new updated version of the switch has the problem or not

They fix them for free if they're within the 2 year warranty. I got my switch on launch in 2017.

I could probably fix it myself if I really wanted to, but I haven't run into the problem yet. I just think Nintendo should focus on devising a different design for the thumbsticks because I am betting the new joycons will have the same problem. The new switch uses the same old joycons, so the joycons have not been updated.

Not sure if I wanna get the Switch Lite. I really like the looks of the pokemon edition... I also don't know if I'd even take it out of the box. It'd be more of a collector's item for me, I think.

I don't have the money to pre-order it right now but I will be getting one eventually. I'm thinking the yellow one and then eventually I'll probably get the Pokemon edition as well.

Lately I've been playing Animal Crossing New Leaf, I finally paid off my home loan in game so I'm getting around to decorating all my rooms. Can't wait till New Horizons comes out, it looks amazing!

Playing Pokemon Y still, fighting wild pokemon a lot to gain experience for the different ones in my party since I'm playing with exp share off. It's taking longer but it's fun and I'm learning new/better battle strategies.

Yeah. I'm not too keen on the other colors. I really only like the pokemon one and the yellow one.

I wish they had Game Boy Color colorways. Like, the teal, kiwi lime, translucent purple, etc.. The teal on the new switch lite isn't the same shade. I want nostalgic colors.

Yeah, ColorWare makes some awesome stuff. I've always wanted their NES switch and their NES switch pro controller, but they're sooo expensive.

I wouldn't be surprised if they did something for the switch lite. I wonder what they'd do, though. They already have the NES and SNES switches. Not sure if they'd repeat that or do something totally different, but I wouldn't mind a DMG game boy theme. I would also like a kiwi lime one. Not the greatest color, but it's the color of my second game boy ever.

I didn't think I'd like the turquoise switch lite but seeing it unboxed it's more of a teal color and it really looks good

I saw that exact video when it came out too. It's a lot nicer in person than in the photos. The photos don't do it any justice IMO.

I still think I'd get the pokemon one, though, if I had to pick. I'm concerned about the joycons, so I think I'll keep the pokemon one as a collector's item unless it's been confirmed that the joycon stick thingies aren't flawed.

Oh, and the only thing I don't like about the normal colors of switches is the white joycon stick thingies. They're probably gonna get icky and brown from thumb oil grease, like what happens to the Xbox One controllers. Yeah I use joycon stick grip covers on my Switch , so I'm sure they'll have them for the lite too. They're much more comfortable and have many colors and designs

Those are both games I really want to get eventually they look great!

I've never played Dragon Quest Builders 1 on the Switch (even though I do own it on the switch), but I did play it on the Vita. It's a solid game. It's got so much content it's crazy. I'm expecting the same for DQB 2.

Fire Emblem has a lot of content as well. There are 3 different hard modes, each of which with 3 storylines, so you can technically play the game 9 times and have a completely different experience every time.

I really don't like paying full price for games. Rarely do I spend more than $40 on a Switch game. I always wait for sales... except DQB 1 was never on sale for less than $50, so when I saw DQB2 on sale for under $50, I bought it.

I will probably buy Animal Crossing full price though, and I already have pokemon shield pre-ordered from Best Buy for a $10 free gift card.

I think New Horizons is going to be a game changer. I think it may possibly be bigger than pokemon. The only problem is that I'll need a stupid Switch Online membership for New Horizons. I mean, to get the full experience and the best value, you really need a membership...

I also wanna trade Pokemon though and do online battles w/ other people, so maybe I'll get the online membership for Pokemon + New Horizons.
