There’s a really neat game that just came out on switch. It’s called Coffee Talk. You are a barista and you serve people coffee and talk to them about their problems. It’s a good game for anxiety, I heard.

I haven’t had much time to play games the past week but this weekend I plan on relaxing and playing Pokémon sword.

I plan on putting a bit of money aside every month to save for an Xbox One X

Just played at least 1.5 hours of graveyard keeper. It’s so fun but so confusing. Idk what to do in the game other than bury bodies.

Finished the storyline in Pokemon Sword and caught Zacian, now to complete my Pokedex then try to find/catch some shinies

Caught a dynamax shiftry in Pokémon Sword. So far I’ve caught 95 different types of Pokémon. Have a long way to go to fill my Pokédex, lots of fun.

Played Stardew Valley for an hour and a half tonight. Working on saving enough to get the final house upgrade

I've been spending a lot of time reading and doing work, so I haven't been playing much. However, I have been playing Dragon Warrior Monsters 2 on my modded Game Boy Color. (Has a backlit LCD, custom shell, custom buttons, etc. etc.) I miss the old days with Game Boys...

I'm probably gonna go back to Fire Emblem: Three Houses. I haven't played it in about a week and a half, possibly two. Still need to play Ys that I bought during the Black Friday sale season.

Some people’s farms on Stardew Valley are so amazing. I’ve been looking at pictures on a Facebook group I’m in for the game. Mine is a huge wreck lol I’m on like the end of year 4 and I’m just now starting to think about how I want my farm to be laid out. And I just figured out how to get into the secret woods so I can get hardwood. I’m wayyyy behind on things

Fiancé bought me Jeopardy off the eshop. It was 8 dollars. I like trivia games. I’m really good at them. Plus u can play multiplayer on this game too.

I have so many plushes from pokemon center, it's not even funny. I think like 30 maybe? Possibly more. I have a whole temporary "bookshelf" of them. Then I have some non-pokemon plushes as well (e.g., Zelda BOTW ones and some Squishables).

I played Pokemon for an hour today, the entire time I was hatching eggs trying to get a shiny... it will be a bit easier when I complete my Pokedex and get a shiny charm

There’s a really cool multiplayer game coming to switch but probably not for a long long time. 2020 or 2021. It’s called TemTem. It’s like Pokémon but it’s multiplayer and you battle your tems against live players as you walk around and adventure.

I haven't played much the past week. Not as much as I normally do. I think once I'm finished packing and getting things taken care of at my old place I'll be able to focus and play more because that has been stressing me out and taking up time each day.

I bought Dragon Quest 11 like a year ago and never started playing it until now. I just put in 18 hours in the last 2 days. I started at 10am yesterday and ended at 9pm. Then I did another 7 hours just now. I'm legit addicted to this game. Wish I waited for it to come out on the Switch, though. I'm playing it on PS4.

You really have to like JRPGs and turn based strategy games in order to enjoy it.

If you liked the wild area in Pokemon Sword/Shield, where it's an open area to explore and you can see pokemon roaming around in the grass, then you might like this game.

It's definitely more of an adventure than pokemon, I'd say. Pokemon is pretty simple. It's basically "follow the route from your mom's house and defeat trainers/pokemon until you reach the elite 4," but the entire dragon quest game is more like, "here are 50+ wild areas like in Pokemon shield... go explore them, defeat wild monsters, find loot, explore dungeons, do quests, visit cities/towns, buy/sell/forge equipment, level up, and defeat all the bosses."

But yes, there are cartoony looking monsters like pokemon. You fight monsters as well as people. So it's kinda like an "open world" pokemon, except instead of using monsters to fight other monsters, you recruit people to fight the monsters. You also don't "catch" the monsters. (There are Dragon Warrior Monsters games which are a spinoff that's a lot like pokemon, but that's different.)
