I was watching Beverly Hills Chihuahua earlier. Had to pause though because my friend started texting me and it messed up my focus so I'll probably finish the movie tomorrow

Picked up the DVD Interview with the Vampire at the library. I've read the book but never seen the movie.

Just saw it, first time I've been in a theatre in years... Pretty good, not quite as "simply fun" as I thought, more realistic. Still good though.

I put in a request for the movie Tolkien at the library and I guess it was finally returned because I got a notification that it's held for me, so I'll pick that up tomorrow. Really looking forward to watching it!

I saw that Mr Rogers movie this weekend. Kind of sad. I wanted to see Frozen 2 but I couldn't get anyone to go with me.

Joker - incredible movie; Joaquin Phoenix probably won't get the kudos he deserves for how well he played the role.

I watched Frozen 2 over the weekend. Probably not as good as Frozen 1 but I still enjoyed it.

Anyone have any suggestions for good animated movies? They could be from any time, as long as they're available on DVD

Yeah I've seen Wall-E, saw it in the theaters when it came out and have it on DVD, it's the best! I'll check out moana and bolt.

Also try the secret of NIMH...it’s old enough you might be able to stream it free but I believe they’ve put it in dvd as well.

My grandmother recommended me the movie "The Grand Budapest Hotel".

"You need to watch this movie, and then look up some of "Wes Anderson's" movies.
The guy is a genius, and his movies would appeal to your quirky sense of humor.
I LOVE the Grand Budapest Hotel on so many levels.
The photography is genius, and the story is so quirky.
It's like watching a movie made up of frames of paintings.
You might have to watch it a few times to fully appreciate the genius of the artistry, but I know it is something that you would "get".
It has Saoirse Ronan in it too."

I'm gonna watch it when I'm with my mom at the place for her in the city when she does radiation. I'll let you guys know what I think......
Thanks for this!

Picked up Finding Nemo and Finding Dory at the library. I've seen Nemo but it's been a loooong time, haven't seen Finding Dory yet

Well, the Finding Nemo DVD froze so I couldn't finish it. That's a problem with a lot of the children's DVDs from the library, they tend to have a lot of scratches and stuff because little kids get ahold of them.

Have some hold requests for "It: Chapter Two", and "Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark"

I saw the opera The Magic Flute yesterday at the Met Opera theater production. It was okay. Not my favorite.

Yeah, the terminator with Christian Bale sucked as well. They've sucked for awhile.

I recommend watching les miserable the movie because I think it's a great way to learn about life and how a kid can overcome those fear of having the rightful man fight and defend for her each day.
