Hi,

Has anyone here been feeling like you were before taking abilify after stopping it for months or years?

Hello. I just started abilify about two weeks ago. What I've noticed so far is that it doesn't completely sedate me while sleeping, it does have me a little drowsy during the day, it seems to have calmed my intolerance and temper, and it seems to be controlling hallucinations so far. Too early to tell if I like it or if there will be bad side effects. But that's my two cents for now.

I don't intend to ever stop taking medication so I'm not sure I will know what it is like after taking it. Unless you mean after switching meds. I'm curious to hear from others considering this is a new med for me. Thanks for posting.

Abilify made me extremely energized in a bad way. I couldn't even sit down without having to move. If anyone had different effects let me know.

Hello, I've noticed that all your posts are asking questions about abilify. What is your experience? Have you been on Abilify and then stopped? Are you considering going on Abilify.

I have been on abilify for a year now and I hate it. I can't concentrate, I feel like I have to move all the time. On the emotion level it's like I'm dead really. I was forced to take this drug by people who put me into hospital for psychosis.

It's been 7 days now then I'm off and I still experience all of the things above. From what I read permanent brain damage isn't common with this drug so I was wondering if anyone who has taken this drug for at least a year would feel back to normal after stopping it.
