I'm reading The Philosophy of the Enlightenment by Cassirer. It was finished in 1932 by a germen. It puts the ideas of the enlightenment in a historical framework that makes the whole intelligible. It's very good. I wish I could read it faster though, but its dense in substance to takes me longer to beat by beat understand it. I wish it was 7 years younger though, then it would be in the public domain and I could give it a systematic analysis chapter by chapter in my book. Oh well. I'll just take a few choice quotes from it instead.
Thanks for this!

Welp, I started The Wheel of Time while at work. I think it's 15 books long. It's going to take me months to finish the 15 book series. I have the audiobooks though. But I'm finding that I have to listen very closely to this one. It doesn't seem like a casual read right now. My 2 friends loved it though.
Thanks for this!

I can't listen to the wheel of time well enough to go through it, this is the audiobook. The Seroquel is still effecting my comprehension level. I could read it with my eyes, like I am The Philosophy of the Enlightenment, but I'd rather not. It's going to at least take 4 more weeks for me to be off Seroquel and then a couple more days for it to get out of my system completely.
Hugs from:
