Schizotypal personality disorder community mad because it spells STPD

@newtus and sp - mirtazapine and all the brand names for it are widely used in pets to stimulate appetite. I don't know if your particular brand is new? But the practice has been around for years. Tried and true. Transdermal meds are especially nice for use in kitties, because they can be a challenge to pill. You wear gloves so they don't get absorbed into your own skin while you give them to kitty. A good spot is the upper ear flap, because most cats almost no fur there. Just rub it in!
They used to use diazepam (valium) as an appetite stimulant in cats, but it caused too much sedation.
...geez i wonder why...
Fun fact: i have also been prescribed mirtazapine as an appetite stimulant before! It didn't work for me. But i have found it to work well for my dogs when they've been ill.

Psychiatric drugs have not really been researched in dogs much. Sometimes vets prescribe them, but they don't really know the effects. Dog brains and metabolisms and vastly different than humans. I've seen several dogs respond really badly. I think it's very bad medicine and irresponsible.

I was handing out of trees at 40 ft, climbing ropes and rope ladders, climbing through nets, walking across dangling logs...it was crazy. My son did all the courses. I did 2. You needed quite a bit of upper body strength for some of them and that’s where I fail. I have no upper body strength I cant even do a pull-up. My daughter did the 2 courses with me. She impressed me I thought she’d be too scared.
I swear as soon as I crossed the line back to my state reality set in. Life stresses, work, school...sigh.
My dogs were so happy to see us. My Henry is currently smooshing me in my chair. Can’t pry him off me Roll Call 132️.
Your vacation was a lot of fun to read about! I'm glad you all had a great time. I saw someone on a zip line (I think) on real housewives of all things. I haven't watched that crazy show in about two years now. I was certain I could never do it, you're so brave!!

I was just enjoying life as a kid. I had the best childhood. Then at 12 I became depressed. My parents split up (Which was probably good for me. It SNAPPED me out of it and brought me into the real world). I started hating society because I know I'm not a sociopath, but teachers would treat me like everyone else that is a delinquent like when I walked inside to get something when everyone was supposed to be outside - A teacher came yelling at me. Lots of things happened where I just learned to not stand up for myself like to my step dad. That's kind of how I still am. I don't use my anger. It's all reverted inwards to depression.

I wanted to be a cop when I was a kid but now I don't like cops. I don't hate them though. The only reason anyone would want to be a cop is for personal reasons obviously like having a drug addict abusive criminal father and wants to protect society from people like that. And I get that. But there's no reason for me to obey rules of the government that don't make any sense.

I feel like I need to go mental but in a healthy way and beat myself up for not improving myself but there is responsibility for healing my mental illness and being able to recover. I'm getting there.

My dream now is to travel the world, talk to people and see their point of view, help people, experience life to the fullest, be innovative and do something for the world (Not current delusional society - I'm talking about animals, environment, people's ability to enjoy life), open up peoples minds and let themselves change their perspective. I would like to be a doctor, a scientist, artist, musician, etc but I want to make people see what I see and stop being robots trapped in society and always treating people like **** because of it.
Thanks for this!

Agree. They wanted to prescribe downers for my dog because of his separation anxiety but couldn’t tell me the long term effects so I didn’t do it.

Wow I slept until 7:30! Must have been all that fresh mountain air.
Hanging out with the family today. Had my husband take the day off. I think we’re going to go to the club and fish. Maybe have a cook out there depending on how the kids feel. Just nice to be together.
We let my dog sleep with us. He’s usually perfect. Curling up at the foot of the bed. Last night I woke up with him on my chest staring at me. I won’t lie. It was a little creepy lol. Guess he was afraid I’d sneak out again.

I wish my free jeans reward would show up already. I want those damn jeans.
My daughters school clothes came in and they are all too big. Sigh. By the time I get the returns done and new ones ordered the warm weather will be over. That’s what I get for waiting until the last minute.
I can’t believe summer is over. It flew by. I think because I work now. There weren’t any real lazy summer days. I hate to send the kids back to school. With them home my anxiety is so much better. I don’t worry all day or stress about them getting assignments done or taking stupid stressful standardized tests. Sucks. I wish it was always summer.

So I’m feeling like going out somewhere close like groceries or something and of course in 3 min rain is starting and it will be a solid sheet all day, its supposed to be nice and cool though so that’s a plus. I’m actually considering cleaning....I never clean so now would be a good time.

Im ok.

Guess im gonna be waiting for that email about the apt today. Maybe looking into Favor as a job. My job coordinator and i talked about it. She said id have to put away part of the money for taxes tho at the end of the year. Something like 20 percent to be liberal.

I have a problem cuz i need to wait out for a better job but at the same time if bf and i get approved for this place i need to start saving IMMEDIATELY.

And then gonna call my mom later about my small bday party tomorrow.

Yeah I have a low maintenance Pergo type floor so it’s easy to clean but I need to clean up old paperwork etc. I’m seriously thinking of moving next spring so I need to downsize big time. Need to start selling or donating stuff I don’t need which will be most of my stuff, I’d be moving In with the bf who is a minimalist at best. Basically though I priced it out and all my stuff is so old it will be cheaper to visit ikea than hire a mover and storage. It’s time for a refresh anyway. Actually I think I priced out an interstate move but still....I don’t trust storage...I don’t want to end up with insect issues.
