Hey, gang. I actually have bp 1, but it is highly psychosis-dominant these days. I remain very psychotic, despite having tried and/or been on good doses and trials of: Risperdal, Zyprexa, Abilify, Seroquel, Thorazine. Maybe one other I can' recall right now. Has anyone here had good luck for psychosis with any other atypical? Geodon? Invega? Anything?

I am at the point of looking at Clozaril, if we can't turn this around. I am doubtful that just continuing to try these other atypicals is going to give a different result, but thought I would ask, anyway.

Thanks a million!!!

I was on Invega Sustenna for many years, at the max dose it helped quite a bit but I developed TD from it so had to get off. Right now Vraylar is helping me immensely but I’m also on Thorazine and a mood stabilizer with it so it may be the combo

I’m surprised that they’ve not tried topicals ap’s like haldol or other older meds. I’ve had been on a lot of different antipsychotics. I’m now on clozapine. I’ve not been on it long enough or probably a high enough dosage for it to work it’s magic.. that and they also have me on the Rexulti. Our brains are different so who knows what would work.

I'm on Rexulti and was still experiencing a lot of psychotic symptoms until the pdoc put my dose at 4mg, now I am hardly getting any hallucinations or delusions. HUGS Kit

I think it’s fair to say that what works for one doesn’t necessarily work for another....we are all so unique.

Was on Abilify injection and pills.. It made me have addictions.. reckless young fragile mind..

I was told that I was on too much Abilify to be reasonable.. So I was put on Invega Sustenna and Zyprexa..

I finally started talking to people and was able to form coherent sentences more.. Disorganized schizophrenia..

Had a few little psilocybin trips last summer on it. Nice waves on the walls and stable. Can't smoke weed anymore though cuz I still go psychotic. Need to keep stable on few things..

It's been a long hell but I have learned =] My brain has almost developed! I'm glad that I went on antipsychotics early enough to make me better 8 years later even though I stopped them a lot before I was 18...

If you ever stop them too much, go on the injection.

Peace 2 u fellow western born shaman!
