I've probably been rocking back and forth in my chair for at least an hour. IDK it's calming.

Newt, how do you find competitions to give your stories a winning shot?

It's a 6 hour drive to clean up the crack/meth house.

I'm gonna read in the car and take notes on my computer. I'll buy cokes along the way (Coca cola).
Thanks for this!

Yeah I think we'll be wearing biohazard gloves or something? The biohazard people will be there I think..

I was touching things ignorantly when I first walked in there - Looking in drawers and stuff.. My sister was lifting up clothes and of course, found a needle..

So yeah we have to be careful not to get pricked or dosed with fentanyl or something unknown.

I don’t do competitions personally, but I scour publishing and writers websites. Like Writers Market!

Are you getting any money out of it? When my sister lived with her husband at the time they let friends stay with them only to catch them with heroin needles and **** like that and to a bedroom which was suppose to me my nieces bedroom. Yeah... that room was locked up so my niece didn't get into it and idk if they cleaned it before they moved.
Thanks for this!

It's tens of thousands of dollars worth of damage. Insurance doesn't cover "vandalism". Insurance is only paying for the door that got broken in after my mom changed the locks.

I think they were doing drugs everywhere in the house. There was kids doing their homework where the needle was found and a play area in front of the room where the pipes were found.

So idk.. I'm always doing something like this.. Like there's always a problem in life where I need to move or clean things.. It's annoying..

We're getting help from people in the town because it was a pretty quiet town - That's why the pimps and dealers took advantage of it because there was no cops.

Thing is... no matter where you go to live... suburbs, country, and urban areas there's always going to be drugs. The difference is how well you hide it, how much money you have, and people who do the **** for boredom no matter how much they;re told not to touch it.

Yeah I know that but my mom posted this on social media and called her tenant out that let it happen.

I see social shaming as completely useless. I see reporting posts as useless. People waste their time and energy on things that will always and forever happen.

My brother and sister were posting on the page with my mom, making egocentric comments and one upping themselves - With people saying "Crack heads probably broke in to get their crack".

For me, shroom hippie, I don't bother. Sure - Tripping helped me be more normal and interactive with people - But I'm not community or world orientated. There's social alienation with me which is like schizotypal - Just very aloof. Idk..

That woman that my mom shamed is probably going to relapse because she was shamed and her kids will end up as addicts - Not that that can be solved.

I walked into the gas station at one of those isolated town and the cashier disturbed me because she was extremely overly social.. I thought to myself, "Why?" - And when I walked into a store, a woman told me to smile and made fun of me. Idk why people were telling me to smile in that town. I wasn't apart of a community. People talk **** about each other in small towns and judge each other because they have nothing better to do.

I know all of this is nonsense. People become shocked - Little do they know that their children are snorting oxy in their gf/bf's house.

One woman told the bar tender that my sister (17) was underage even though she wasn't drinking - Just cuz she's jealous of my mom.

But enough of this stuff.. I find it very more weird and bizarre than the little bit of it that I find entertaining.. It's scary.. It's like everyone is on autopilot. They need 2-3 hits of Orange Sunshine.

I don't judge those with substance abuse because I grew up with uncles who were junkies. Both alcohol and other drugs. No one goes and does it to become a junkster. They do it to escape life. A year and a half ago I lost my uncle. He spent 10 years in prison for robbing a drug store out in West Virginia. Towards the end of his life his PKD was painful and took heavy duty pain pills. He smoked pot and that was about it at that time. He mainly stay cleaned legally.
Thanks for this!

My great uncle has Parkinson's. His dopamine meds make him hallucinate.

He was an electrical engineer. Very smart. Grew his own pot. Probably still smokes. Weed works wonders for many things.

Responsible use of drugs is good. Just people have the wrong view about drugs and addiction. I'm gonna read a book about addiction - it's the guy that was speaking in the post I made on FB.

Eventually psychedelics will be legal and we'll be like Portugal.. theres no crack houses there I don't think =]

I saw this on the news the other day from a 99 year old vet who recovered from Covid 19: he said, "I'm a warrior, not a worrier." Dude, this guy is my hero. I want to be like him!

Anyone else see America's Funniest Home Video's on Sunday night? It was a quarantined edition. It was pretty funny.

I’ll finally be able to make my mom’s homemade meatballs and spicy Italian sausage with pasta.

How are you doing @SlumberKitty ? Yeah I really needed new shoes. The ones I have I have had for like 2 years.

I'm doing pretty good @Blue_Bird. Just been chilling today at work. Mostly rocking back and forth in my chair but I also read a lot out of Psalm from the Bible. I did work when it got put on my desk but not a lot has come by honestly. So it would have been a pretty boring day if I hadn't done some reading. Still have about an hour and a half left of work. Then tonight I have a call with my case manager. I don't know if she is going to graduate me tonight or wait until next time. I'm doing pretty good, I think she will feel happy with how I'm doing. I'm down to seeing Pastor T only every other week. So I guess I need less support right now. I definitely think the meds are helping me. Just dealing with some hallucinations and stuff but they aren't as bad as before. I'm glad you got new shoes and a crock pot. That's nice. I like cooking in a crock pot. It's just so much easier than cooking any other way. We are either having spaghetti tonight or dinosaur shaped chicken nuggets left over from when my niece visited. Lol.
