Days become nights then become mornings SO fast. I'm tired of the routine.

I'm in the middle of Canada. My mom has a first shot, but currently they have it open in general to anyone 50+, or if you're native Canadian it's 30+, and in certain neighborhoods 18+. I don't live in a high risk neighborhood, not Native American, and I'm only 32. So I have to wait until they lower the age, or open up to everyone in my neighborhood.

Canada has to rely on the US and other countries for the vaccine so it's being limited for now. They're even extending second dose dates as far back as they can because of supply issues.

And now with Ontario having a huge problem with COVID, more resources are going there, than here, but we still have a lot of restrictions including no visiting even standing outside.

I got friends who live in high risk neighborhoods, and one is native Canadian so they're all getting their shots next week. Rest of us gotta wait. Including my sister, and she's working the phone lines helping people register to get a shot.

Wow, I didn' tknow all this. In California they just like 3 weeks ago opened it up for everyone 18 and up. Maybe two weeks ago. I was able to get it a little earlier because of preexisting conditions.

Ok I just realized Native American is the same as native Canadian. Pretty much. Never realized I never was taught about native Canadians before. Feel so dumb. It makes sense tho. Sorry Roll Call 183

Yeah, I don't know what other provinces are doing, but where I live that's how they're handling it. It's annoying waiting and waiting. I wish they would just open up to everyone across the province, but alas... I don't even care which vaccine they want to give me I'll take any.

I should be a bit higher priority because I live with my mom who was considered a higher priority, so when my age comes up I'll be able to get it a little quicker.

Just gotta wait...

Ha no worries! Probably some different tribes, but it's really the same. I know some people prefer 'first nations' or 'indigenous' but I always knew it as 'native canadian' or 'native american'. And you have the people who have native and French heritage called Metis.

I believe it is important to respect ethnic groups. Highly important! I’m so glad I learned that little history lesson though.

It is important! You learn only so much in school history. All whitewashed. Metis are really important where I live and there's a big history with Louis Riel Metis - Wikipedia

I learned so much history outside of school, and realized how bad it was. The winner writes the history, as they say.

How is everybodies general mental health today? Add details if you want, too.

Have you exercised?

Have you socialized?

Have you gotten enough sleep?

Have you taken your meds?

Have you had something to eat today?

I just mean like... not the actual winner, but like say with war the conqueror is going to write how great they are even if they're ****ing assholes who slaughtered people. Like white supremacy. White people gonna write how great they made North America. BLEH.

No no you’re good. Lol. Yea it isn’t good. So many minorities just written out of history. Ethnic groups plus lgbt and so many other marginalized groups. It’s really really sad.

Mental health: Feel roughly okay but a bit socially anxious and talkative.

Exercised: Lol no.

Socialized: Talked with my mom and sister, and had a meeting at work.

Sleep: I notice I'm sleeping less than normal.

Meds: Yup!

Food: Had seven layered taco dip for lunch, going to eat ribs for dinner.
