It’s good to see you Boots! And happy birthday! It’s great you’re doing the IOP program

A couple weeks ago I got my very first actual job, I’m a cashier, so I’ve been doing that. Aside from that still doing the volunteer thing with the kitties and am also taking violin lessons.

How have things been going for you?

Thank you for the happy birthday and that's awesome! I've always loved the violin. How do you like cashiering?

Things have been going well for me. The dd program really did me a lot of good. I'm on a lot of meds now and my pdoc kinda hates it, but whatever it's keeping me stable for now, and I'll eventually cut down. I'll get back to volunteering when I'm done with IOP.

That’s awesome, I’m glad the program helped you, and am glad you’re stable! I was wondering how you were when I didn’t see you around here for awhile

I played violin in elementary and middle school in the schools orchestra , just started getting back into it. It’s a lot of fun

Cashiering is okay. The basic card and cash transactions are easy, it’s when people want to do layaways or returns etc that’s still a bit confusing to me but I’m learning. Occasionally there’s a rude customer but that’s not often and I just try to move on and forget it if there is. Standing for 7 hours is a lot of work, and it’s almost always busy with hardly any down time except for my 30 min lunch break or 15 minute break. I’m out of shape so I’m still adjusting to that. But overall it’s good and I’m happy to be working

Working two jobs, my knee is giving out, I may have to get it checked. I feel overly stressed and irritated so I suspect the bp is acting up even though I’m on a higher dose.

On the positive side I’m eating pumpkin spice everything and getting some nice fall flowers.

I have to work tomorrow from 11am to 6pm. So I’ll head out at 9:40am and get home sometime around 7pm. Gonna be a long day. Not really looking forward to it. It’s busy even on weekdays during work hours. At least I got a shift. It’s the only one I got this week. Last week I worked like 22 hours. This week I just have tomorrow, 7 hours. I wish they were a little more organized with their scheduling. It’s annoying. Oh well.

I have a meeting with my program manager today so I can turn in my pay stub to social security then an inspection after that. I cleaned as best as I can do it should go fine. Oddly enough now that I’m working I’m less anxious about other things that usually give me anxiety, like inspections etc. I don’t stress about them now like I normally do, I guess all my anxiety is just focused on my job now.

Unfortunately the anxiety does shift often to something even more stressful.

Meeting went well. Inspection didn’t happen. He said he had to leave early after our meeting and asked if everything was fine in my apartment and I said yes and he said he would take my word for it because he said he never had to worry about my apartment cause it’s always clean

Good to see you! Hope all is well.

Ive been having anxiety about health. Bloating, and other issues. I was worried it was a bunch of other things like Crohn’s but it looks like it’s gyno related and they have to test to see if it’s fibroids, cysts, or god forbid cancer.

And I’m worried about spending money. I have a plan to reduce my spending and put more money towards debt.

But before that I’m getting two tattoos at the end of the month.

I’ve got some kind of nerve damage on my right thigh , because of when I used to cut myself a lot, and deeply. It’s a weird lack of feeling. It’s like Novocain but I’m my thigh. It’s weird but it’s been like that for 10 years or more. I mentioned it to my doctor and asked if it’s possible I caused some kind of nerve damage from the cutting due to it being numb always and he said it’s definitely possible. I have scars all over that side of my thigh
