I’m baking chicken drumsticks tomorrow. I’ve never done that before so hopefully it goes well. I found a recipe online. It’s basically just olive oil and a bunch of spices coating them then bake in 400 degree oven for 40 minutes. Seems simple enough. Going to have them with cheddar mashed potatoes and mixed veggies.

Watched a movie with my boyfriend today (Forgetting Sarah Marshall) which was hilarious and great and we played yugioh as well.

One of my shirts I bought for work came today.

Been playing Pokémon Go a lot, catching a lot of different Pokémon.

I have a dentist appointment on Wednesday morning to replace a crown that fell out. It was already due to be replaced Wednesday anyway but it just randomly fell out when I was eating the other day so I guess it was good timing. Annoying thing about it is the bit of tooth that was underneath is sharp as hell so like every time I try to eat or swallow something the jagged edge scratches up my tongue and it hurts. So hopefully they can take care of that.

Since my first shift is 4-9pm on Wednesday I hope that will be my shift for awhile , that’s not too bad. I’ll find out my full schedule on my first day.

Had a nightmare that I was at a group interview for ny job (my actual interview was just me over the phone with the manager). But in the dream I didn’t get the job, I woke up in a panic thinking thank god it was just a dream. Already having job anxiety related dreams and I haven’t even begun my first day yet. lol.

Anyway, I have my volunteer shift tomorrow. Then Wednesday I have a dentist appointment in the morning and work in the evening. It’s driving me crazy not knowing my full schedule yet because I like to plan my days far in advance. So I don’t know what Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday will be. I’m guessing it will just be more 4-9pm shifts but I don’t know what days I’ll get off if any. (Since I already take/requested Tuesdays off for volunteering) I hope I have at least one day of no work or volunteering. Just a day to do nothing and unwind. We’ll see

This is probably a really weird question but I’m gonna list some food items I have and if anyone has any good ideas of things I can make out of them let me know

-Ramen noodles
-eggs
-1 can chicken
-brown rice
-frozen fruit
-Oatmeal
-lots of canned veggies
-Pancake mix (just add water) and sugar free syrup
-Frozen mixed stir fry veggies (I do have some teriyaki sauce)
-chicken drumsticks (a huge thing of them in my freezer)
-2 packs of hot dogs
-Pasta
-sauce

That’s all I really have in the house right now.
I have tons of spices. Trying to get creative cause I have a week until my Foodstamps come in.

No bread of any kind

Why not make a fancier ramen with a cooked egg and stir fry veggies added to the top?

I left the heater fan on all night - And had crazy dreams. I was flying a plane, trying to land to a place where I'd fix my tooth.. And something about my doctor throwing a party in his house.. or something.. I can't remember..

Another was where mom was getting cancer treatment - And there was this set of colourful buildings. Some musician was living there, and my mom was like "See if you can rent a room with him, so you don't have to pay 1000 dollars for a hotel" - And I befriended him. There were like.. chambers.. for prostitutes, connected to "Hookah nicotine vapes" connected to each chamber, and I was just puffing the nicotine, went to sleep.

One was where I was at my sisters house (And there were vents in each room) - Spiders would crawl out of them, and attempt to bite us. There were drug containers, where the spiders would be captured (In a room with 6x vents) - And when they'd bite my sister, she'd get anti-venom (And hopefully it was no problem).

But I found myself, lying on the floor.. In the hallway, not being able to get up.. Cuz I was just too hot, and relaxed.

I woke up, and my Dyson fan was blasting hot air - My mom came in, and said "Your cat is upset because it's too hot in your room - Turn it off!".

I’ve never tried adding anything to ramen before but that sounds interesting, I always see people adding lots of stuff to ramen like eggs, veggies etc. is it good that way?

Been pretty good. Went back to the gym the other day.

TMI but I got an irregular period again. It’s annoying. It felt really bad the other day I couldn’t really do anything.

Otherwise good mood! Been chatting with people online a lot. Having fun.

Have acupuncture tomorrow after work. Then really just the rest of the time gym.

Not much else.

Some of the cats from my volunteer shift today. These two are so sweet. They all are really. There were a lot of cats there today.

There was a cat named Soot Sprite and another named Mignon

Now I’m relaxing and trying to mentally prepare for the stress of tomorrow

Had my dental appointment today. To replace the crown. They did some fillings on the part of tooth that was underneath it then built it back up some because it needed more volume for the permanent crown I’m getting to hold on to the tooth . I guess when the old crown fell off it took a piece of tooth with it and it was already really small because you know when they put crowns initially on they have to drill the tooth down really small anyway for it to fit. So that’s done. My bottom lip is numb from the novacain and the tooth hurts now pretty bad. I’ll have to take some ibuprofen. I have an appointment in two weeks from now to get the permanent crown placed on. Can’t eat anything really hard for two weeks especially on that side. And I’m supposed to chew what I do eat on the other side until the crown is on. So I don’t mess up how they built the tooth up or chip it.

Now just relaxing a bit. Have to shower in awhile and clean up a little bit then head out around 2:40 for my shift at Burlington. The bus comes at 3pm. Gets there at 3:16 pm. And there’s like a 15 minute walk to Burlington after that. I just want to make sure I get there a little early on my first day. Then I get off at 9pm and depending on when the bus comes I should be home around 10 to 10:30pm

I’m so nervous. Keep worrying that my manager will think I’m stupid or too slow or something at my job. Idk what orientation consists of but it lasts 5 hours. From what I heard it’s a lot of learning stuff on a computer then answering quizzes and stuff throughout etc I don’t know if I’ll even be at a cash register tonight probably not. I hope I’m not too slow or nervous when I am doing it, cause I shake sometimes and don’t want to drop peoples money or give them the wrong change etc

I feel like I can do great if I put my mind to it. I just have to relax and not let my anxiety overwhelm me. What’s the worst that can happen. I mess up and it’s not the end of the world because people mess up their first few weeks on a new job and then get better over time.

I think once I get it all down it will be a very repetitive thing. Saying hello, how are you, smiling, scanning items telling them the total, taking the money and giving them the change or doing their credit or debit card and giving them just doing that over and over again all day every shift. So it will probably become second nature after a month of it.

Found out the whole thing for Dynacare to manage your test results isn’t for my province so I can’t do it. Sucks.

Just got home. Went well. Got my badge. 4 hours of sitting in the training room watching training videos and taking quizzes the entire time. Then one hour one the sales floor returning clothing from the fitting room returns to the proper places.

I have another night shift tomorrow (5pm to 11:30pm).

The manager is really nice

The break room is cool. Has a keurig, a fridge, a microwave , and has ramen, and ice cream in the fridge lol

I get two 15 minute breaks as far as I know

Bought my ski pass (1 day early) for 624 dollars. It would have been 800 and something if I didn't buy early. I do this every year.

Should be good.. I'll try and look forward to skiing.. And be happy!

Cuz last winter, I wasn't happy at all.. I've never been so suicidal as last winter than since before being put on meds.
