Hi everyone, I've been on Haldol and Risperdal for several months and I'm feeling somewhat whoozy plus I'm titrating off of Paxil and onto Zoloft w/ Cogentin thrown in for side effects. I'm just curious if anyone has a similar meds ergimen and how well you deal w/ change.

Aaron,

I'm on abilify, wellbutrin and effexor. Before I went off the abilify cold turkey I was sleeping all day everyday. The only way to deal with that was to sleep. Now that I went back on the abilify at half the original dose I don't feel as sleepy. Not saying that you should quit taking your meds, please don't, just that you may be over medicated and that's why you're getting those side effects. I think the best way for you to deal is to talk to your psych and see what he/she says.

Love and Hugs,
Tara

I have not been on the regimen that you are, but as a social worker, I've had clients that have been on similar combinations with some similar symptoms. It is important that you let your psychiatrist know. Medications do different things for each person and titrating is different for everyone.
