Hiya,

I know I don't have
Schizophrenia or Psychosis, but I thought some people here might understand this more.

So anyway I'm sure someone is trying to give me AIDS, I don't know when but I'm sure it's going to happen, like on a forum I was on, the word positive was there so many times, it's like a sign, to tell me to be careful.

I have a special insight and I did email someone to try and get the ways I think accepted by everyone, so just waiting for a reply.
I think that in a few years time everyone will know the ways I think you can get AIDS are right, but someone will take my credit for knowing it, that's why I had to email.

Should I talk to my doctor about it? Or maybe the police?

I'm not sure what to do, I'm scared to go and see her because I have to get the train there and that could be when it happens.

I get sick of hearing it's just OCD, because I know that this isn't and it's just like no one believes me.

I text the police to get some advice.
Obviously the non emergency one because I don't want to waste their time.

kureha - i think this is something that you should tell your doc about.

i think the evidence we have about how AIDS is transmitted is very comprehensive - and we know that you cannot get it by touching someone, using the same doorknob etc.

when did you start getting this insight?

Hiya Deliquesce - I'll tell her on Friday.

Yeah I got an email back I emailed NICE, they didn't listen and the police didn't help at all.

They find new things out all the time though, so it's only a matter of time before they know what I know.

I've had it for a while, I think it started off as OCD, but now I know for sure that it's a special insight. It just feels like no one is listening to me though or taking me seriously.
The only person that seems to understand is my doctor.

Hi there,

I think you should talk to your doctor about this. It's classic delusional thinking that does go with schizophrenia. I get this about certain things too. It could not be schizophrenia related, that's why I say talk to your doctor, and be honest with everything that is going on so you can get an acurate interpretation of what's going on.

Love and Hugs,
Tara

Thanks for the replies Deliquesce and Tara

Yeah I'll let you know what she says.

I just hate it when no one seems to listen to me or they say just don't worry about it, if someone was trying to give them AIDS, I'm pretty sure they'd be worried.

I'll write it all down though then I can give it to my doctor to read without missing anything out.

Well my doctor said she thinks it's just OCD - but to mention it to the psychiatrist when I see him.
I still don't think it is - althought my doctor did say it could happen.
