Last night, my brother, who is in the process of possibly getting diagnosed with schizophrenia, stole my car and went to a club. He returned of course. He used my credit card to get in/possibly drink/ and get some cigarettes. He doesn't yet know I know. He recently switched meds which he confided in me the previous day that it made him very nervous.

How much should I hold him accountable? What should I do? Advice PLEASE.

(((EV))) I agree with Ozzie. I would always let my brother know that I was unhappy with him when he did things like that. Don't let him push you around dear. You're such a sweetheart for helping him out.

Take care and GOOD LUCK!

Thanks all. I talked with him and told him I knew what happened. I told him if it happened again that he could live with me. One argument that we keep having is whether he is allowed to drink or not. He is 22 so he feels he should be able to. I feel that since he has a problem with alcoholism that he can not drink and live with me. I'm not sure if i am over-managing him too much. Anyways. our discussion went fairly well.
