The last college application I submitted I think I forgot or was in such a panic to get it in on time that I didnt list 2 of the post secondary institutions that I have attended. Althougth the college I am applying to has all my academic records I am still concerned that they will view this as some how not telling the truth and won't let me in their institution.
In my logical frame of mind I am thinking that they would have sent me a letter by now (it's been since March) to tell me that I am not accepted due to missing information...etc. All that has happened is that the program I am applying to wants to talk to me to discuss their expectations of me and visa versa. I am planning on applying to a different program and this time I paid close attention to everything they ask for on the application and plan on going to the registrar's office to ask to see my records to get exacts dates of when I attended these various institutions. Back to my previous worry about missing information....... My major worry is they will see it as dishonesty and won't let me into their institution and have it on my permanent record! ________________ Thoughts? Comments? |

Update!!
I went to my college this afternoon to submit my new application and the lady in the registrar's office said not to worry about having exact dates on my application since the college already has a record of them on file. ![]() |

That's what I was going to say! I graduated college in 1972 but have taken all kinds of miscellaneous courses at various community/county colleges and then applied to "formal" programs for advanced degrees, etc. and only been able to give approximate dates for the "little"/miscellaneous stuff and that's been fine! Glad the college put you at your ease.
Good luck getting in the program you want!
