Well, I am scheduled to meet with the Chairman of the math department tomorrow to set my schedule for the summer & fall...I guess the party that has been the last 8 months are almost over...time to hit the books again....

here's to hoping there is no more trips to the psych ward for me to bog down the semester...

I'm getting a little anxious now...

Once the schedules set I'm going to have to start mentally preparing for setting in class rooms again without freaking out. My nerves were on edge a little last year after the NIU shootings when it came to being in an enclosed class room...

hands getting a little sweaty...9 hours or so until my meeting....19 credits then I can start my student teaching

You can do it! Being a brave lion means that you do things despite being scared or anxious... feel free to unload those feelings here.

Of course I think anyone who wants to be a math teacher needs a trip to the psych ward in the first place....

Of course I married a math teacher...so you may not want to listen to my advice.

I can see by your absence here that you have successfully immersed (or is that drowned) yourself in your classes. I know after what you have gone through that being in the classroom isn't an easy thing......but hopefully you will be able to keep those thoughts out of your mind with the need to focus on the class.....hopefully enough time has passed that it will lessen the memories enough so they don't accumulate to the point that would need the hospital.......I know for me, the vivid memories to tend to pass with the years & the more other things I have to focus on, the more faded they get also.

Will be looking forward to your updates when you get a chance.....but know how much focus serious classes actually take.

Really proud of you getting these last 19 units out of the way so you can get on with the teaching.

Keep a good pace & keep a good balance with family.......& we will be here when you get a break......you have our support all the way.
