Finals are coming up in a week and I was wondering how a severe prcrastinator like myself can get to studying without getting distracted and actually studying and not sitting there staring at the wall :P

I expect one way would be to pick up your text and notes and start studying them?

How have you studied in previous years? If that has "worked" then try not to get so worried, let yourself relax a little knowing you will get it done. If you haven't liked it, it's your pattern, change it some way?

I like to write so answer questions from the book in writing and use other questions (from quizzes that have been passed back?) and write about them and I like to look for connections and read interesting little tidbits (and then put them in written test answers :-) If you like to read (just not the textbook) find a different book in the library about the subject and read that book. The more time you spend with the subject, anyway/anywhere, the more you'll know and remember and if it takes your learning stuff on its own and connecting the dots to your own life, you'll remember stuff better anyway. Be curious and ask yourself questions and get interested in bits and pieces of what will probably be on the exam. Do things your way; the learning is for you, not a grade or the teacher or your parents or anyone else. It's your "life".

I'm in the same situation, unfortunately. Just keep in mind that they will be over soon. Good luck!

I love your signature by the way TWLOHA is an amazing organization.

I'm getting ready for my mid-terms haha. I procrastinate so badly that I figured out I have to get a 100% in the next two quarters and get at least a 90% on my finals/mid-terms to get a b+ gpa.

I write down specific things that I HAVE to know and then I look over them for 30 minutes then I have a 5 minute break. Good luck on your finals!
