Well tomorrow is my first day back since I was in the hospital for 2 weeks with the whole voice problem. the doctor told me to take it slow and with time i'll return fully to school. But with all my homework I missed, I can't help to feel just super stressed, like I can't do the work because my brain isn't working. Then my anxiety and worries kick in, "how could I finish all this?" "the teacher is going to yell at me" etc. My brain is just super stressed because I have all this homework that I'm trying to do but I just can't wrap my head around it.

Hello, cutbuddie. I expect your teachers have some idea why you have not been in school. Perhaps it would be helpful to talk to the school counselor about getting help to finish the assignments in a less stressful manner? The counselor could talk to the teachers to get everyone on board to make things easier for you.

Good luck.

So glad you are better. You can do this! Just take it one small thing at a time and focus on it; do not consider everything or it will be seem overwhelming. One step at a time and you will be caught up before you know it.

Those are all wonderful idea's, but there is one problem.. My school doesn't have a counselor. Well not that I know of really. But I am returning to school for only half days. And my teachers only know I was in the hospital for anxiety. But lately I've been feeling more homesick. Like if I'm at school for half the school day I feel extremely homesick and in need to go home immediately.
And also my mind just isn't concentrating on homework that well anymore. It's really hard.

Would there be an option for you to be home schooled for awhile....until you feel comfortable going back?

(I don't know the full story, but it's great you are on the road to helping yourself...feeling like yourself again.)
