About work Not depressing :)

I am going to apply for a apprentiship. It's where you work but you can earn money as well. I want to do business because it seems interesting. I am into the typing stuff into the computer and telephone work so I'll be good with the computer stuff. Does anyone know what a good job for a quiet person would be? Office work would be alright for me because I'll be on the computer and doing paperwork. I don't mind all that. I wouldn't be interacting with customers. :P Anyway, in the personality qualities section when I look for a apprentiship. I see bubbly or must be outgoing. Well, I avoided applying for it because I'm shy and quiet. I would try my best to talk more and in the work experience I proved to myself I can talk

I checked in my apprentiship place, one of my applications is in progress but it's not where I live. But that doesn't matter because I can travel there by train anyway. It's like an hour away from me. I hope I get one. The end result if I do it, might be.. I get a job

I see the rates of pay on these vacancies and it's about £90-100 a week!

Gosh! And... I thought we were in a recession

On the 4th.. I'm going to this interview for a course which will help me into what work I want to do!! I'm not like everyone else but I'm one of them people who just need help along the way.

Now I see one of my applications have been unsuccessful! But I applied to 4 or 3 vacancies. But I still have one in progress! Wish me luck

The one consideration however would be: with the long train ride and over an hour away, the cost of commuting roundtrip, how much this would cut into the wages, and whether it would still be enough wages left over after taking out this expense each week/monthly to cover your other expenses to be worth it. I had a job that I loved once but had to find another because after transportation it added to more than I expected and there was hardly anything left over to pay my bills. I needed to reconsider this, to find something closer. Hopefully this will not be an issue for you and the transportation cost will be inconsequential.

I do hope with whatever you decide, that you find the right position for you and that you get the position you want. It sounds like you are on the right path in discovering what will work. Best of wishes!!

You rock, Happy. I hope you find just the right spot for yourself. I work in an office; being quiet and willing to learn new things are wonderful qualities in an employee. I know if you keep trying you will find a good spot. If you lived near me I'd hire you and give you a ton of work to do.
