Hi guys, I am new to this forum so I hope I am following all the rules. I am quite depressed in school. I don't really have any friends but i get along okay with everyone. The real problem in my teachers. Especially my economics teacher. I feel he victimizes me. No matter how much I try, he gives me the same low grades. He tries to make me feel stupid and dumb and laughs when I say something even slightly off the mark. He lectures me about how I have hit the 'rock bottom' in economics in front of thd other teachers which makes me feel kinda humiliated.
I used to get A*s in economics till tenth grade but for the past two years, I haven't seen a grade beyond D in my report card. I feel I know most things in the book and I am doing well in Chemistry and Math. Is A level economics really this hard? Also, my math teacher really annoys me. She is so double faced. She just dictates stuff in the math book like History and we just make notes. After that, she tells me to do everything at home. She has no interest in me and she has never helped me when I need her help. She refused right on my face to teach me the whole of A level math and said that she'll just make us do past papers now and I can do the chapters at home myself. By the way, there are only two kids in my class because the school is new. The other one is my sister, who faces the same problems. I can't leave the shool because I am scheduled to take the A level exam next year. How do I deal with these kinds of teachers? Should I stop going to school? Also, any tips about a levels? |

Have you spoken with the school counselor at all? If not, do so. If yes and he or she was not helpful, I'd recommend scheduling an appointment to see the headmaster/principal. Above all else though, you need to start documenting what's happening to you. Stick with very straightforward, objective stuff. Do not put any emotion, opinion, or perspective into the documentation. If the principal is unhelpful, you should go to the school board or whatever the next level of authority happens to be.
