I have my applications submitted for grad school. I checked the status of one of the applications online, for which the deadline is October 1st, aka next monday. Two of the recommendation forms I gave to my professors still haven't been submitted.

I sent them a general friendly reminder regarding the deadline, but I really, really hope that they mail them out soon (as in today/5 minutes ago/last week).

I really hope they do them in time too. Maybe one or both of them have already submitted them, and the online status just hasn't been updated. Regardless, I think it was a good idea to send them a friendly reminder. Professors probably know better than anyone about the importance of getting graduate applications together.

I'll have my fingers crossed for you - I hope it works out and you get in to whatever your choice of school is!

Yeah, I had a problem with that issue. However, I will say this: All worked out for the best and I got into a school I hoped to go to. Try not to panic!
