but i can't. i'm just waiting for a crazy idea that maybe my parents will go out of town and bring me with them- transfer school and stuff. i want to start a new life in a new place where nobody knows all the stupid things i did before.
I have a very proud and boastful dirty old man teacher with a big tummy. I just can't accept the fact that he will stll be my teacher next year Last edited by Christina86; Jan 28, 2013 at 12:35 AM. |

I suspect we have all wanted to just take off and start over again someplace else. At least I know I have. But, if that's not an option, then we just have to hang in and make the best of things. Would it really be to your advantage, especially for your future, to quit school?
I'm wondering, do you know for sure if "fatso" will be back next year at your school, and if so, if you'll have to be in his class? If you do have to end up with him again, is it possible you could keep thinking about just getting through (even count the days down--I'd check off each day on my calendar and know each day I was getting closer to being done.) If he does upset you a great deal, could you talk to a school counselor? Please feel free to keep us posted about how things are going. And if you do end up with him next year, then we do listen to complaints about teachers! ![]() And you will be finished at some point and probably never see a lot of those folks again either. I tend to do stupid things at new places, too. You are human and we humans actually all do "stupid" things. I know it's hard to put things in perspective right now, but this too shall pass. And when you do start at a new place--possibly college--you can start over then! |

I felt like that too... Then I moved schools... It's not better at a new school either. It's better just to make things right at your current school.
Good luck <3 |

Talk to your parents and see if you have any options. Most states and areas have "virtual schools" now where you can take classes on-line. I'd do the research ahead of time and present it to your parents. You don't necessarily have to take all of you classes in a virtual setting....maybe just the class that teacher is teaching.
