Is it okay for someone like a high schooler to forget some of his science material? Or should he take an ap classes of that subject so that he can refresh his memory? Do you think it's a waste of time?

Well, I would say that depends.. If you are in school and you need to know that stuff, than yeah I would say you should probably learn again.. I am 37 and I forgot most that stuff anyway.. lol..

Depends if you want to be a scientist or not. As a scientist I say no no it's not OK...I use high school chemistry every day. Also a lot of college degrees require a certain number of science credits to graduate. If you take AP classes and pass the test you can actually place out of general chemistry etc.

Take it if you need it. If you are planning on going into science, then yeah. And sometimes psychotic nailed it: if you're planning to attend college, any type of degree requires that you have a minimum amount of lab science (and possibly other science) credits at the first year level, which require prerequisites.

You're so funny. I don't think I need that stuff, but some people know more than I do and i feel kind of left out forgetting that stuff.
