I have worked so hard to get this far (enrollment in a graduate degree program), but I am too sad to see myself doing a good job. Just a little sad. Really considering dropping out, although at this point I would loose all of my invested money.

I understand where you are at. I too worked hard to get into grad school but my anxiety is so great I am not being able to enjoy it and find it distracting me from my work. I think several times a week that I should just drop out because I don't feel like I am going to make it. why continue to invest money if I am not going to make it but then I don't want to waste the money I have spent so far by not doing anything with it. so I keep going, a semester at a time, hoping things will get better. take care of yourself.

I'm sorry that you are having a depressive episode that would keep you from your goal. I don't know much about you. Like are you seeking help for your depression? Might help to change you outlook if you do see help.

Wishing you the best whatever you decide.
