Lost my flash drive. Left it in the computer lab at school several days ago. I doubt I'll get it back.

Have a back up of my current work on the student account but I won't be able to get it until I go in next week. So I'm missing a whole week of work I should be doing.

Fine. Whatever. I deserve to flunk for being such a careless loser.

You are not a careless loser, we all make mistakes. Maybe try and go in early to get your work or ask a friend who is on campus more often to get it for you?

I'd call the lab, see if they found the drive; I would think other students would know how important a flash drive could be for work and the next person using the machine would hand it in to the proctor.
