Procrastination keep each other accountable.

So I ended up not making a dent yesterday, shoveling took longer than expected and so did the appointments, just getting to them was an issue. Today will be nice, as there are no appointments and I do not have to go anywhere. Math it will be. I can do it!

Goals: As much as possible on the homework and at least one quiz.

I'm having difficulty with this data entry. I wanted to do 1 page a day but skipped a day or two and then went to wanting to do 2 pages a day but often could barely do 1 and now I need 3 a day to finish but that's not going to happen. I just need to do it and forget the pressure of schedule/expectation. I have plenty of time to finish before the last work is even due to be turned in! I just want to be ahead without having to do the work

Damn procrastination lol. It got me to. I volunteered a ton today, then watched football, then tv. Well tomorrow I will attempt to get through the rest of the history reading that I wanted to get done today .

And, here, the wind covered up all the shoveling! Talk about a reason for procrastinating, I hate when that happens

I was hoping to be finished my data entry but I'm only a little over half done. Sigh. It's not due until Thursday though.

Surprisingly I made it through chapter 8 (3 sections) and 2 quizzes yesterday. I have all day today again to work on more so am going to go out on a limb with an ambitious goal and see how far I can get.

Goals today: math- chapters 11.1, 11.2, 11.3 and 2 quizzes.

If I can do this then I will only have 1 quiz left to take tomorrow and will be good shape to take the final as early as Tuesday or Wednesday. It will be nice to get it done. I am so tired of thinking about it.

4 more homework assignments done; all completed now and two more quizzes down. Three more quizzes to go to complete by Friday and the final is now scheduled for Wednesday afternoon. I am not optimistic given how the quizzes have been going but at least there is an end in sight, which desperately need at this point.

I took the final yesterday and am just hoping I passed at this point. I still have three more online quizzes left to take; I was so bummed and tired of the test when I got home yesterday afternoon, I procrastinated and did nothing. I have until tomorrow at 5:00 to get them done. They are long and sections were one I had trouble in which is also not helping with procrastination at this point. Instead of trying to get all of them done today, I will try to get the two shorter ones done to build some sense of accomplishment and go from there that perhaps may get all three done. If not, the third I will do tomorrow morning.

I got two quizzes done yesterday and I have one more to do. I must do it this morning but am dragging. Part of me says screw it, what difference will one quiz make but it might, so I must get it done. Just have to remember, one problem at a time.

It so saddened me though and is discouraging when I realized classes start Monday, that there will be only a weekend break from all this, and it starts all over again. Burn out right now is an understatement. However, I have to tell myself that it will be worth, it will, it will, it will, hopefully. We'll see.

Do the "recommended" chemistry problems for chapter 11 that we have covered material on.
Review chemistry slides.
Go to bed by 2 am
Morning Goal:
Wake up by 6 am and review biology slides/read material in textbook.

Overall goal:
remain positive and goal oriented.

Took the first few days of classes off as a break but it is time to get to work now.

Goal today: Pre-cal sections 1.2 & 1.3 notebook and quiz

I am so behind in this data entry! I definitely have to get it done by the 26th, I'm leaving town for a month on the 30th and have to complete the project based on the data entry before it is due the 20th (write the article).

Does anyone time themselves on tasks for the challenge? I think I'm going to do that today, see how long it takes me to do a page of this data entry when I'm actually trying :-)

Data entry especially something that can be timed. It is always interesting to see the progress that is made over time as well. Please let us know how it goes. Good luck speed demon you!

I went to work on the computer yesterday, couldn't access what I needed to, and then the PC computer crashed. I spent all day trying to fix it and finally made an appointment to go in. Took almost 2 hours but I still have to reconnect it today. If only my laptop was update to be able to run the program I need. I may be time to serious consider getting this antique upgraded as there are even somethings on PC I cannot access anymore with it. Finding the funds though, if only my new found math skills could pull those numbers out of thin air into my account.

Including needed breaks, takes me about 80-90 minutes per page, I have six pages left, ergo, about 9 hours of work left :-) Page a day/9 days would be Tuesday, the 28th and I go out of town for the next month on Thursday, the 30th so that would be cutting it a bit short since I want to figure out some other stuff/what to take with me before I go. Looks like I need at least a page and a half a day.

I got through 1.2-1.4 and the pre-quiz. Unfortunately I only got a 73 on it, needed a 75 to not have to do the homework. Aggravated because it was the formatting issues with the computer in how it accepted the answers and unclear instructions. I will definitely know better for next time.

New plan for today: Sections 1.1 & 1.2 of the homework

I discovered I may only have 10 more records to enter instead of 400. That would be very very nice!

That is quite a discovery. I do hope that is the case.

Dad had an emergency yesterday (and doing well now), but all day in ER, not a thing done yesterday. I have almost all day today to hopefully get to the same darn sections and more hopefully.

Oh, I'm so sorry, Fresia! Hope your dad is truly okay now. Why did you not take a book to read/study while you were waiting?

I'm going to finish up these records and then run some numbers, look at the other 4-5 pages that are left and think about how I can exclude them so it makes sense in my paper, etc. We're supposed to get a foot of snow today, ugh.

Everything for the class is online and the computer is at the "doc" too. They say it will be a couple more days. I have to go to school to get things done in the meantime. Tomorrow's goal, finish CH 1 and quiz.

Ok, so I couldn't access the whole program; turns out I have a bug in my program so they sent me a new access code and I can access it now through the school's computer meanwhile; my computer will be in the shop until Monday, hopefully no later. This is turning out to be a comedy of errors. It is also a pain to have to go to school and work around the class schedules there, but a necessary evil at this point. Unfortunately there are four sections to do each chapter: a reading set of questions, assessment quiz, homework, and quiz. I finally made some progress getting the reading and assessments done for all of chapter 1 yesterday. Half way there for the one chapter, a good dent yesterday. Yes! I don't want to think about how far behind I am though.

Today's goal is to start on the homework for chapter 1 and to take the quiz at the end of each homework section. Please homework gods let me get through CH 1 today.

Sounds like you are really working hard, Fresia! I wish I could say the same for me. I still have not typed in the final few records.

We leave next Thursday and my husband wanted to leave a day early! I was worried because I had not heard from my cat sitter and had sent her a couple emails but she contacted me last night and we will meet on Sunday so hopefully all that is okay. I have a friend who will come over at least once a week, probably more, so that will be okay and my next door neighbor will have a key too.

Well, let me see if I can get these records typed now; I'm a little distracted, we should be getting our next section posted and our last grades are overdue, etc.

I have done some procrastinating and will start posting here again.

Tomorrow I would like to read 120 pages of this book. I would like to get my notes organized for my classes, and I would like to make some practice quizzes for upcoming midterms.

I'll put my two cents in - today I am going to my support group meeting and straighten up the house. And I will have a good attitude while I go about my day.

I need to watch a course video today and as that is all I have access to (computer challenged), I am allowed to have time off then; procrastination free.

I typed in the rest of my records so now I can start planning my paper. I need to get the house organized a bit, the cat sitter comes over tomorrow evening to see how to care for them, the cleaning service comes Tuesday for the last time before mid-March and we leave on Thursday for the month so I have to know what school stuff I need and organize it to take with me by then.
