I will keep this short. All I'd like to do is make a thread where you can post your plan for the day in the morning, and you can come back in the evening to say if you accomplished that. I will do this everyday. I hope this not only helps myself, but everyone else with this issue. Off to bed, when I wake up I will make my first plan for the day.
Thanks for this!

Good idea! Maybe doing that will get me to start writing my paper that's due next week. I have all the information gathered; I just need to write it...

Sorry about not coming back to this everyday. I really just had so much on my mind at the time that I forgot I made this. Well lets start tomorrow. I will not miss it, as I'm going to set a reminder on my phone for every morning and night lol.

I want to also mention some tips, such as don't make goals that are very difficult to accomplish and make sure they are realistic.

Tomorrow my goal will be something along the lines of having all my biology labs organized into flashcards for the parts I want to memorize, and have all the genetics problems organized to where I should have a reasonable understanding of how to do them. I have the lab final on November 27th 8pm. (will do this from 9am-2pm)

I'd also like to have my biology lectures 1-3 understood reasonably well from the second half of the course. Final is December 7th.(I have a lot more lectures to go over before then) (will do this from 2pm-5pm)

I have a play to read for Monday that was assigned Friday, so I will read half of it Sunday and the other half Monday morning. (will do this from 9pm-10:30pm)

Then for stats I should be okay leaving it off as the final is on December 20th and I have a 97% in the class, although it is hard lol.

Okay so I will stick with the plan that I made yesterday. Except I woke up earlier than I though so I will just start at 7:30am rather than 9am. My next post will be at about 10:30pm and I'll let you know how it goes. My main goal is to at least work on these things from those times I listed, because if I don't complete them that just means I made the goals bigger than I thought they would be.

Anyone who wants to set some goals for today go ahead .

wow today was crazy. Weekends are usually an adventure for me, as I isolate a little more than usual. I didn't get much homework done today, because of a bit of depression kicking in worse than it has ever done for a couple months. Things are actually great now because I am going to start gymnastics now to fill some of the void of isolating. Anyways I hardly got anything done, but tomorrow is a new day and I will post my plan in the morning .

My goal today is to finish reading this play, as I have a quiz on it in 4 hours. Then after that I have to study for a bio lab final that's on Wednesday evening. I'm not going to set specific goals for how much I want to get done, but I'm going to imagine the final is tomorrow morning. I will try to get through the full on panic right now to get everything figured out lol.

I'll be back this evening to say how I did.

Great idea for a thread, but I'll admit I'm a bit hesitant to post. More pressure.

So I read the play and got the 5 questions on the quiz right. Then for studying for the bio lab it went okay. I did about 2.5 hours of studying. I have a lot of work ahead of me though in order to do well. Bio labs are my worst grade right now so I have to actually re learn things and then memorize other things. Nonetheless it will be my last science course that I should ever have to take.

Tomorrow the gameplan is just study heavily for it. I'll post in the morning with the actual plan.

I have a bio lecture today from 10am-11:20am, but after that I will study for my bio lab with the rest of my time with obvious breaks inbetween.

My goal is to study like this:
study for 1 hour then take a 15 minute break. If I find myself getting tired I'll just have a 15 minute nap for my break. I'll keep track of how many 1 hour study sessions I can get in. I'll be aiming for 7 as my goal.

I'll be back this evening to update how things went

Sounds like good plan!

I have accounting homework due before class at 3:30. It's not graded, but I get the most out of it if I complete it before class and ask questions when the teacher goes over it in class. I like to go to coffee shops to study as there are so many negative emotions associated with my apartment. My goal is to get there at 10:30 and try not to feel bad about not getting there earlier. I think a real good goal for me is to not beat myself up for not sticking to a schedule, realistic or not. Being negative, even if being negative is justified, does not help me at all.

I've done 4 hours and 40 minutes of solid non distracted studying today for my bio lab final. But I just finished organizing everything into review material at this point. So I only have until 8 pm tomorrow to review the 7 labs and I really don't have any of them down very well. My plan is to try and relax and review what I have as much as possible and whatever happens happens. If I receive a poor grade in this class then so be it.

Well my plan now is to continue studying in 40 minutes until midnight. Then I will sleep for 7 hours and I will post the rest of my plan in the morning.

list of things ahead
-Bio lab final nov. 27 8 pm(worth 20%)
-English Essay due Dec 6th(worth 20%)
-Bio Lec final December 7th(worth 45%)
-stats assignment due likely next week(worth 2.5%)
-English final Dec 10th(worth 30%)
-Stats final Dec 20th(worth 60%)

Alright so today is my Bio Lab final at 8pm.

I feel at this point between 60-85% will be my average on it, depending on how well I get things understood.

The plan is from 9:25am-10am I will memorize my flashcards for lab 4 as I have labs 1-3 memorized okay at this point. From 10am-11:30am I will go over genetics which is labs 5 and 6. Then from 11:30am-12:30am I will go over lab 7 and this bit of practical stuff.

I have class from 1:30-2:20

I will be back home by around 3 and I will study from 3:30pm-7pm going through labs 1-7.

Then I'll be off to the final and will write it from 8pm-9:30pm.

However I do I'm okay with it, because this term of school has been a great learning experience. The biggest thing is to just learn from my mistakes and my grades aren't too important at this point.

Well the final went okay.... I think it's around 70% but who knows. I'm just glad I worked hard at it. I need to continue this work ethic into next semester, but start with it from the beginning. I'll put my plan for tomorrow up in the morning.
Thanks for this!

Okay so next up is my English Essay due December 6th and my bio final lecture December 7th. The stats assignment I'm unsure of at this point. I also have a little summary paragraph to raise my participation mark for English that I keep forgetting about with a play I watched that I have to do.

So today my plan is this:

7:30am-8:30am organize my bio lecture study notes.
10am-11:20am- bio lecture
11:20am-1pm break(I will likely organize my bio notes more, along with getting ready to go over my last stats exam)
1pm-2:20pm(stats lecture)(I likely won't go to this, because I am behind in stats, so I will just work on the previous material to what were going over in stats to get caught up)
2:30pm:3:30pm(stats lab, going over last stats exam)
4:30pm-10pm(work on english essay and bio lecture final studying)

Today looks fun hahaha! I will be back here tonight to say how it went.

Today plans changed lol. I found that I knew what I did wrong on the few questions for the stats test, so I didn't have to go to stats. Also I learned that the next stats assignment won't be graded so I can put that off until I am done my next 2 finals. Also I finished this summary for a play that was given as an option to raise our grade a bit in English. After bio today I was sooo tired, because I didn't sleep well last night, so I had a nap this afternoon. After my nap was when I finished the summary, then I got started on organizing stuff for my english essay. I also organized my bio notes and made an outline for how I will study for the final.

Tomorrow the plan will likely be working through the first 3 chapters of bio and making flashcards for them and beginning to memorize them. I will also do some more work for my english essay, and I will get a start on studying for my english final. Again here are the dates for these things:

Dec.6 essay is due

Dec. 7th bio lecture final

Dec.10th english final

Sorry missed some updates. Well I will just start fresh with a new plan tomorrow and what I need to get done is in the post above.

I have 12 chapters to try and understand for the bio lecture final. I have gone through almost 3 and have made flashcards for memorizing. Tomorrow my goal will be to get through chapters 4 and 5, but also memorize all the flashcards I have for the first 5 chapters.

I would like to re-read the play I'm doing the essay on, and all the while be picking out quotes that could work in my essay. I would also like to pick the essay from the book that will be used to help support my own essay.

Those are my goals for tomorrow .

I will hopefully be here tomorrow night to make an update on how it went.

Great idea. I procrastinate so badly. It's gotten worse now that I can't focus much anymore.

I need to do a peer review for this final essay rough draft tomorrow. I can't put it off. The due date is the 4th and with Christmas around the corner, I'll be quite busy all week. I, also, have to read two chapters in Sociology. Must do it before the next test.

Good luck on your goals for tomorrow. Finals are scary. Mine are creeping up on me, too.

I meant to say chapters 3 and 4 instead of 4 and 5. I'm almost finished on chapter 4 and then I could move onto memorizing for the first 4 chapters. I actually haven't looked into working on my essay . I will try to spend the next hour working on it, then I'll come back to biology. I also might be hanging out with someone tonight lol.

Okay so today I need to do chapters 4,5 and 6 for bio. Then for English I would like to go through my play and have all the quotes figured out that I will use. Also I'd like to have my secondary source figured out. Then this will allow me to make a rough draft tomorrow.

I slept for 11 hours! lol. Well anyways I have a couple hours before school. I'll do bio for 1 and english for 1.

I'm a horrible procrastinator. I said I was going to study, write my paper and do all my assignments over Thanksgiving break. I got all but my paper written, and now it's due tomorrow. Whoops! Here's to busting out a paper in one night!!

Hahaha I'm still procrastinating! Thankfully it's only a 4 page paper and I'm halfway done. I just don't want to type it up...I've checked out for the semester.
