Heyy! So. It's the third week in and while I'm on top of 2 of my classes, I'm super far behind in my art class (which takes probably the most amount of time) and so I've been having some pretty big trouble with my "stick my head in the sand and pretend it doesn't exist" method of coping. I don't think I'll have too much trouble once I get started but I have the hardest time starting an assignment. Especially since I'm already behind.
Any tips? |

Try to interpret the assignment in a way that is interesting to you so you want to do it for yourself rather than because it is the assignment and due, etc. Make it "yours".

Take the class pass/fail so there's less pressure and it's a lot less likely to effect your GPA?

Story of my life! I either do very very well in a class, or I get behind and suffer. When I am feeling especially anxious or overwhelmed, I usually get a friend to stay with me, and make sure I focus on that particular assignment and complete it. If I'm by myself at my worst times, I will just sleep or spiral down into a funk. That extra warm support from friends is vital for my success.
