i am really impressed with the ease of access to online classes, and the lack of pressure that not being 'enrolled' allows me. so many excellent choices are available from really first rate universities, such as Yale and Princeton.
there is an online class coming up the first week of March by a Princeton professor, free for no credit, that explores the philosophical teachings of buddhism and what science has found about mind training and meditation. i hope many of you who are interested will come, regardless of the Quizes ![]() ![]() https://www.coursera.org/course/psychbuddhism hope to see you there~ Gus

Hi, Gus. Thanks for the link. I signed up. It will just make a difference at what time they have whether I can attend. I hope it works out. Sounds interesting.

the reason i didn't list a time is because it is unscheduled. you just read the articles and listen to the lectures when ever you can, and if you want to take the Quiz on Sunday to see how well you understood and remembered, you can. the only stress i experienced in the current class (Morality in Everyday Life) was from my own critical self~
![]() i am really looking forward to learning what the current "school of thought" is about the measurable effects of meditation and mindfulness on the brain. hope to chat with you more later~ Gus
