I just received a bad grade on my coursework. And it's only the first part. I've got another coursework that leads on from the first one and I know I've lost marks on it already. I don't have another chance at it (because it's coursework) and I dare not see the feedback...

You can still change up the following coursework and get a good grade. Maybe pulling the professor aside and get some feedback would help you get back on track. Best of luck

I know the feeling about not wanting to look at feedback when you know it's going to be bad but it can be helpful. Try not to see it as where you have done wrong but suggestions for how to improve. Teachers don't give feedback to attempt to criticise but to try and help you to do better with future work.
I agree with above too that speaking to your teacher in person might be helpful. They can give you more information about ways to pull up your grades or possibly make up some marks. |

OK, I got the feedback today. I told the tutor to look at my "improved" design so that I didn't have to look at the last piece of crap that got me 33% only. He still suggested improvements to the design. And also, he told me exactly where I lost marks. I didn't even do the parts of the coursework I was told to do. How blind was I?!
And as I expected, I could not get a re-mark for coursework. But the tutor did say that for the second coursework, the part of the design that is required to get the marks for the coursework doesn't have to be the same as that which I submitted in the first place.
