So I have tonight, and Monday left in my Sociology course. I also have a presentation due tonight, and a research paper due AND a test on Monday. I've been really good and made it to almost all of the classes, am doing really well, sit up front and engage in discussions, and am usually a model student. I've even made friends in the 2 months I've been doing this.

Now I want to throw up, cry in a corner, sleep all day, cut, eat nothing, smoke weed and pass out.... and I haven't smoked weed in MONTHS!

I just can't do it. I know it's two days but there's so much I feel like I can't finish it. Which sucks because I know the material I just have given up and feel like more of a failure because I do this every god-damn time.

I skipped my presentation. It's I think 10%, but I've been crying all day and can't handle having people around me.

Don't cry. It is not helping you finish your work. Focus, you already started it, you can do it. Goodluck and cheer up.

All we can do is what we can. Take a deep breath, take a step back, and know that you have done well to prepare you for this point. Do the same things you have been doing to prepare and you will be able to get through this. Trust that.

It is the stress that gets to us at this point and it is important to take some time to do what you need to let it go, for everyone it is different; find that activity that you can distract from things and relax for a bit: whether it be listening to music, watch a movie, exercise, take a nap or hot bath/shower, go out with friends or just get in touch with them, but something to unwind, then come back to to your studies. Take more frequent breaks too; you need more mental breaks from it, then come back to it.

You are almost most there and it will be over soon. Hang in there and do what you need to to take care of you.
